This is the message that I rec'd on the 29th.  "Merry Christmas from Apple.  You have won a FREE iPad 3.  Simply go to  cd.9c9.co and enter your winning code 8878 to claim your iPad 3 today.  This message was sent on my mobile phone and the phone number that was shown above the message was 1 714 616 4964.

Received a text msg on my cell phone from this number:

"Merry Christmas from Apple. You have won a FREE iPad 3. Simply go to cd.9c9.co and enter your winning code 8878 to claim your iPad 3 today!"

When you go to that website and enter the code, it leads you to a ziinga.com website (penny auction people/scam).

I typed into the 'live' customer service rep, and 'spoke' with Jake who said that it is not them, but later on in the convo, he admits it IS them.  At first he typed that their customer service line is in the Phillipines and that their head office is in Malta.  If that isn't a scam in and of itself, I don't know what is!!!  

Stupid company, stupid people -- leave me alone.  Lord knows how they got my cell phone number to text me though.   Also, if it WASN'T them, what company would go to these lengths to get someone to check out their website?  Liars!
