After seeing this # for weeks on my call display, finally answered and pressed 1 to speak to someone and tell them to remove me from their list. Got a busy signal. Called the number back, got the "leave your number" voice mail option. Didn't leave my number. My phone service provide says that pressing 1 wouldn't give them any sort of access to my phone. If I find out what credit card company it was and it IS someone I'm doing business with, I'm cancelling whatever card it is and going with their competitor.

Don't know who's offering what, but why would someone from Orange County California be calling Toronto Canada?

The call was placed to my 94 year old mother who is in a nursing home.
The caller demanded 4000 dollars for overdue credit card expenses
my mother has not and never had a credit card. Call received Oct 10/2008
We are located in southern Alberta, Canada

They call my cell phone (Canadian number)and my home, sometimes several times a day.  I have my numbers on Canadian do not call lists.  I've asked to be removed from their lists, they just keep calling.

Caller given Option to leave Voice Mail.
NO Voice Mail.

Called twice a day for 3 weeks. Spoke to someone three different times, first hung up one me when I asked questions,  second talked to, and asked to be taken of their call list and was told that it couldn't be done.  The third time a very nice man took my number, told me it would stop in 72 hours -- but it took over a week.   However, I am now getting calls with all the same nunber except the last -- it's 6 instead of 5!!! Sure would like to know how to end it.  The call is From California -- I live in Nova Scotia

Finally!! My questions have been answered....well, at least now I know the name of the company! I too, have received calls from the 1-000-000-0000 number. Of course you can't call it back. I have entered it on Canada's DNCL list. It seems that I get at least three different calls a day about lowering my credit card rates, a free cruise etc. Maybe if we all enter this information the CRTC can shut the number down! So annoying, I get these calls all the time and I never answer but I hate my phone ringing for no legitimate call.

Got this call...again.  Getting it every few days now.  I actually answered it tonight, but only got dead air.

Getting tired of this company or whoever they are,this phone number 714-682-8315 keep calling. Had enough of these buggers phoning and bragging about some type of credit card.

Thw same voice has been caling for weeks now but with a different number everytime

Just got called from this number in New Brunswick, Canada. Didn't answer it.

This # has been calling me every couple days for weeks!
I pressed 3 to be removed a couple days ago but they still called again today. I pressed 1 to talk to someone and was simply disconnected before anyone picked up.

Please somebody make them stop! Probably the most persistently annoying company to call in some time!

I received twice a call from this number...this morning I did again...what a scam...

I got a call from this number this morning (Oct 8). Did not answer. They hungup a the answering machine.

i just got a call from this arso telling me how to reduce my  credit on my card its no good to press 3 because next month you could have a huge phone bill once you press that 3 some how they can use your ph to eighter get money from your next bill  or you have alot calls chardge and you cant pay than you have to try explaine that to your phone company  so when that one call again i always tell them to go f off and i hang up on them  i dont under stand why the pn company cant have that number shut down as i am sure the ph co knowes who thoes people are

Just recieved a call from this number and when I asked for more information they hung up.

It's a garbage company offering to help you reduce your credit card debit. You must have over $4,000 of debit on your credit cards in order to qualify. I pressed 3 to be removed from their list - who knows if it'll actually work (I doubt it).

Received this call at 12:10, Oct 6th, 2008. No answer.  Seemed to be an auto dialer of some type.
