345 AM a text message. about gave me a heart attack! Who in the heck calls at that time and how did they get the phone #. Pisses me off!!!

call was at 11:22 PM at night on October 1st asking me if they could call me and talk to me about lowering my mortgage which I do not even have a mortgage and how did they get my cell phone number anyhow???

Started receiving these calls and text messages  AFTER I joined the DO NOT CALL LIST. I do not have a text message plan, and pay for text individually.  The messages refer me to debthelp55.com.  I ran the name through Telepest and it came up with the same number, I had been receiving calls from.  This needs to STOP.

Received SMS Text on my cell phone on October 5, 2009 at 9:31:19AM Eastern Time.  Unsolicited text message below:
Is your mortgage payment too expensive? Our Loan Modification program can lower your payments immediately. May we please give you a call?

Text message from a company saying that they can lower my mortgage rate. Don't know them or need them. I am tired that a number can't be kept private any longer. I wish wireless companies would let us block numbers like landlines.

i am receiving the same text about lowering my mortgage rate all from different numbers.  i replied "yes, please call" to one and the next day i received a phone call and asked the representative to take me off the list.... she typed away and said "DONE!"

been getting texts every day since!!!

A text is sent from this number that asks: "may we call you?"  I didn't want to respond "NO" because I pay 10 cents per text if I go over a certain limit. I hope they don't subscribe to the concept of negative consent!

Texts late at night

Just call AT&T and have them to add Text Messaging to the Solicitors list to be blocked.  They will not be able to send any more texts.  My only concern since I have done that is if I will continue to get Weather Alerts.  I will find out soon enough.  It is just a matter of calling them and changing it back.
