Just because you have your cards DOES NOT verify that your membership is expired we send your cards with your bill before the expiration and YES this is the AAA retention department that handles expired memberships pending cancellation. Please do your research before piston negative things about a valid number

AAA has a toll free number that you can call for both service and issues with your account on your membership card.  Use that number to contact them and check on the status of your account.  If you originally used your credit card (the old one) to pay for membership, they may have kept it on file thinking that perhaps you did want automatic renewal.

I recieved a call from 714.850.5111 and the guy told me he was from AAA, and that they tried to renew my membership since it has expired, but my credit card got declined and he asked me for a new credit card. I asked him to give me the number of my card and he read the correct last four numbers of my credit card - it was mine! Thankfully, it was an older card! I told him I would call him back and the call back number he gave me was 877.222.4543, ext. 4726. . The crazy thing is my AAA membership doesn't expire until next year! I knew something was strange about the call, one, AAA NEVER calls me, and two, I don't have auto-renewal set up. I hope no one gives away their credit card numbers without verifying the caller.

It is AAA but it's annoying. They should send a letter. My friends know never to call me at home.

Shows up as AAA Auto Club on caller ID (Phone #714-966-3078) and caller claims to be with AAA indicating I should call back at 877-222-4543 since my membership had expired.   Thought it was strange since the message was on my landline and I generally only use my cell phone for contact info.  Plus I was pretty sure my membership had not expired.  Checked the website and sure enough my land line is not on my contact info and my membership has not expired.  Obviously I will not be calling them back.

Just now called my cell phone too. No response to my "hello" ... just sounded like TV noise in the background and after a few seconds, caller hung-up.

Keeps calling but does not leave a message, from other posts I suspect it is AAA as I recently let membership expire and they don't take no for an answer

I just called AAA and they verified that it is a legit number, they outsource the company to make phone calls on their behalf for past due renewals. But better be safe than sorry, call the AAA number yourself to renew or go online.

I received a call from this number and I did not answer it because it was an unknown caller to me. They did not leave a message, so I thought I should look up the number.
What I noticed is that the previous notes the have been left are from AAA inquiries. Well my AAA card has expired not long ago and I can make a conclusion that that is what is all about.
This info listing site really helps out alot.

I got the call this morning. It seems to be AAA asking me to renew my recently expired membership. I checked the area code in google while it was ringing and since it came from the OC and I hardly know anyone with that area code I did not answer.

No biggie.

I paid already, too.

Caller left a message saying to call 877-222-4543 x8347 which is a legitimate AAA phone number, but the number she was calling from (714) 825-0692 is not.

A call to AAA could not verify her phone number.
