Spoke with the REAL attorney, David Phelps, that they claim to reperesent, he gave me the number for the FBI agent handling the case, these are bogus con artists, there is no real company and the idoits like Tea are part of the scam, this moron is on every single call complaint number claiming they are a collection agency and will take you to court, why would anyone go through the troule of doing that if they aren't involved?  Anyway, they have switched phone numbers now that the FBI shut down this number!

I spoke with this company a couple of weeks ago and they said they had tried to serve me, going to sue me etc... I do have an old credit card that I owe money on that they are saying they represent... however they said I could either pay the entire amount or 4 monthly installments.  I was pretty freaked out and they caught me off guard..

I made the mistake of giving them my bank account info for them to take money out... now I cannot reach anyone there (numbers are always busy) and have not received anything from them in writing... So, I will have to go to my bank and cancel their withdrawal or close the account.  My job is only $8 an hour plus commission and I don't think they can require so much money... I think if you pay them something, even if only $100 per month they cannot keep bothering you.  

I will be filing a complaint against them with the AG as well because I think what they are doing is against the FRCA laws....(not identifying themselves and not providing anything in writing) How can I pay something with no written agreement?  Then if I pay it they will probably never report it as being paid on my credit report and I will have no proof that there was any type of agreement...

Per the FCRA a collections agency cannot take you to court... only the original debtor...

you sure know a lot about that law....that's what happens when you don't pay your bills and have judgements and tax liens of your credit report, all kind of people come looking for you.

The FBI has been contacted and anyone else should do the same, this is a criminal enterprise.  They are claiming to represent FBI as well, they have been shut down and all their phone numbers are busy signals, check it out for yourself!

This number has been calling my step-dad's cell phone (no idea how they could have gotten it, i don't recall EVER writing that information on any form that would be tied to my name), saying the call is having to do with property at my parents' address (which they rent) they want to speak to owners or legal tennents: stone and associates, ask for David phelps 714 888-6888

just got threatning messages from phone 714 888-6888. they called my moms house and my house from private blocked number.  FIRST OF ALL I DONT OWE ANYBODY . MY BILLS ARE PAID OFF. They are a collection agency.  LAR at 407 West Imperical HWY Suite H-114, Brea, CA 92821.  They will take you to court.  Don't think that they won't.

I just received 6 back to back calls from a private number, but when I checked my messages they left this number as a call back #. The message said that it was in reference to my property. It has to be a scam because I don't even own one of properties mentioned in the voice mail..
I will be contacting an attorney about this matter.

I was just given this number from someone who called my work.

He said his name was Brian Jameson and that he was trying to summon someone to court by the name of Amy McMahon.

I told him that there was no one here by that name. He said "in my records it shows that she has been working there since December 2010" I told him that I have worked here since December 2009 and I know that no one by that name has worked here. I asked if it were possible if this person was a client and not an employee. He didn't think so but I told him that if she were a client I would not be able to confirm that she had been here. Basically I couldn't answer him so I gave him my bosses number. He called back here a few minutes later repeating the same call. I told him the same information and told him if he left his name and number that I might be able to get some information and call him back. He said sure but gave me this info:

He probably wont call back and neither will I!

This is a debt collector.  I have gotten calls from them. I worked in the District and Justice of the Peace courts.  I called back to get the case number so that I could file an answer.  They conveniently did not have that.  I was told by the the process server (I used to be one) that the hearing was today.  When I asked the guy at this number about he said there was no hearing today.   This is an attempt to get you to pay.  Do not be fooled by these people.  If they say they are trying to serve you they will not call and ask if you will be there, I didn't.  I just showed up and suprised the party to the suit.  Also, call the county or district court in your area and ask them to verify if a case has been filed.  You can even go online if the county or district you live in has that ability to view case information online (which most do).  So this is just another attorney turned debt collector or just a plain old debt collector.  Dont' fall for this.  Process servers do not call and if they did you can just get the case number for your case, file an answer in person, via fax (for most jurisdictions), or by mail.

Hey, these guys are the real deal. I thought it was a hoax to until I was actually served.  Everyone needs to remember, that credit company's can outsource to Private processing firms.  When I lived in California, I worked for a well known worldwide bank, and we outsourced our summons all the time, we even had stake outs to watch when the people we were trying to serve came and left.  So if you don't always want to look over your shoulder all day. I would recommend to take these calls seriously.  Good luck.

I've gotten two calls from this number now, saying they want to serve me with a subpoena. The first time they claimed to be from "American Process Servers" the second time from the "Zack Simon Legal Office". They threatened a failure to appear in the last message they left.

This is a scam. If you're being served, they do not call you. They are simply trying to scare you into paying an old expired debt. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION.

So the people that are writing in here about it being real...well they said the exact to a tea same statement under a different name on other forum! Wow really smart! Anyways this is a scam!

I check into these guys.  They will actually take you to court over whatever case they have on you.  They do have a case on you .  You might not remember it at first but the details are there when you ask what it was and how much.

Just got 6 back to back calls from these mofo's.  Brian Gamison called saying they have been "contracted" to serve me and blah, blah, blah.  This is for an old bill that I filed bankruptcy on back in 2006.  I asked for their number since they called from a blocked number and told them to not call me again.  714-888-6888.

these guys are retards.  I just got out of court with them.  I'm on disability, Helloooo.  I don't own property, Hellooo.  You can't garnish my disability.  So I have a judgement now.  Who cares?

This is a bogus scaming company. They told me I needed to call Lori Ross asap. So I did a bar assoication search for her and I found a Lori Ross. I called her. She was clueless as to what was going on. She is the only Lori Ross in California. So to have a little fun for sh*ts and grins I called the number they gave me. :) And told them my name was John Smith. And Told thm that Lori Ross was waiting for my call back. They told me she was on vacation. I said I just talked to lori ross and they said hang on a second. She came back on the line and asked for my physical address and my phone number. I told them You have my name John Smith that they can look it up by that information.I was told they did not do that. So I told them I was in Texas. She said that wont help they did not have a John Smith in the system. I said I thought you could not look it up by my name? She said How can I help you? I said I wanted to talk to Lori Ross. I was transfered to someone else named susie. Went through the same spill. Using a deep Texan draw. Wanted my name. gave it. Told her I call the Cali. Bar on her and they hung up. Was very funny. I would say if this number calls you I would look up that lawyer in that states bar association website and call them on those numbers first.

WTF, yep I get calls all the time. Not threatening me with a failure to appear though, I get messed with enough by the law so that pissed me off now they can rott in HELL before I call.

came up unknown i am to call david phelps right away about property i dont own and never did. Left a detailed message. First mistake not allowed and they sent someone to my house which they never did. Plus if there is a summons the court will send a notice. They have ppl call my number and i always have 24 hours dont think they know time to well either cause 24 hours came and went for a while now. Just annoying since idk who they are even looking for. Plus they have no listing anywhere.

Rcvd call from Gina(mumbled last name) stated I was contracted (not contacted) to receive a summons...and she had sent someone sent to my home to deliver the summons and was unsuccessful at 9 am.  Then continued by saying I needed to get in touch with an attorney at (again mumbled the name) at 714.888.6888 before other action is pursued. Also mentioned charges, fees of some sort, and needing to pay.  Scammers trying to get you ta call back.  Obviously don't know anything about laws and regulations.  Debt collectors are not allowed to leave detailed messages like this in voicemail.  Courts will never call you to advise you a summons is on the way!  Really?! Dummies??!!
