Yet another scam!
Received this as a text message from 714-988-5506:
Dear Walmart Customer - congratulations you have just won a $ 1000 Walmart giftcard. Click here to claim your gift. www.click4walmart.com

I just got a text message that reads: Dear Walmart shopper, Congratulations you have just won a $1000 Walmart Gift Card. Click her to claim your gift. www.Click4Wmart.co
The number listed was 714/988-5504.
I did a search and came up with this site. It's really cool that you folks have posted this scam here.

Its a scam. They will ask for a credit card number or bank account number "to pay shipping charges" or some other nonsense fee. If you give the number to them they will spend all of your money. They will never send you a gift card.
They are using a robo-dialer to call every number that has the same area code and exchange as your cell phone number. They don't know what kind of phone you have or where you got it. They don't even know if the number is in service or unassigned.

I got this text at 8.13 am 3/30/12 on my trac phone. Wasn't sure if trac phone gave Wal-mart my number or if somehow they just had it anyway. I did buy the phone at Wal-mart. Reads Dear Walmart shopper, congratuations you have just won a $1000 walmart Gift Card. Click here to claim your gift. www.click4wmart.com cancel: reply STOP
