Just received a text wanting to buy my item from criags list. Wants to send me a certified check for item. It is a scam, do not
buy into it.

Posted Event Tickets and also received a text from this number. Never responded because i always check numbers through google before responding back!
 

I just got the same thing.  Listed a motorcycle on craigslist.  Got a text from this number asking for name and address and that he would send me a certified check for the bike.  This is the second scam I've had against me from an online ad.  The other one also wanted my name and address.  Be aware and make sure you talk to the person directly on the phone, not via email or text.

I posted an item for sale on craigslist and received texts from this number wanting to buy my item.  The text stated they would send a bank check and of course wanted my name and address.  When I attempted to call, the message said the google user is unavailable.  Attempted identity thief!
