Have no Idea who this is, Keeps calling about twice a day

If they continue to call, tell them you filed a complaint with NY attorney general office. They are not allowed to leave threatening messages. It is a scare tactic. It is against the law. They always change their number and they are ridiculous. I saved all my voicemails and threats they used against me and I told them I filed the complaint with NY attorney general and my states. Also file a complaint online with the FCA if enough people do maybe they can get a class action lawsuit against them!

They keep claling my cell phone with an automated Message for some Barbra chick. Its getting really old fast wish they'd stop calling and wasting my money and time.

Hey jerk, my fat a$$ works everyday! but i will tell you this i have had cancer and many many bills, i do not need these people harrassing me when I have asked for something in writing for proof of what and who I owe, to which they refuse....I dont have to be harrassed, when all they have to do is give me the information I am entitled too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I dont have to pay SH$TTTTTTTTTT! until they tell me or give me the information I request!!

I have a 716-200-4680 number that keep calling my cell phone, it shows as Buffalo, NY. saying that i was listed as a reference on an account for a Debt owed by ____________.  and they are trying to reach this person to come to an agreement to settle before going to court.  If they can not reach this person and have to take it to court they will supena the references list on the account. I told them i wasnt sure of the location of their current address nor did i have a phone number for this person. Its just a friend of a friend that i really don't see much nor talk too.  i'm not even sure how they linked me to this person.   They gave me this info and asked me to rely the message, This lady's name was Racheal she said to call her back at 855-350-5496 ext. 114 and File No.______________. and the debt was from Month and year the debt was from.  I told the friend but she said its a scam, how do i get this to stop contacting me.

PAY YOUR BILLS how about that for a change instead of complaining that someone has to call you because your such a loser you cant pay your own bills and have to be told to over and over and over!! Is it their fault you are running our country into the ground??? HMmmm is it their fault that they got a JOB so they could support THEIR families????? Funny how deatbeats like to complain on these sites about how someone had the nerve to ask them to pay what THEY OWE!!! Get a life, get a job, get some values.....lets all get crazy and pay all our bills and put them out of a job THAT WILL SHOW THEM!!

I keep getting a call from this number and whoever your trying to call doesn't live and I don't know who the person is. Please stop calling me. Thank you!

I have received calls from this number twice now, in the past two days, both of which I received whilst asleep, so I did not answer. I got the same voicemail twice, a man's automated voice saying to call an 866 number about this urgent matter, and states the name of who he is representing as American Capital Associates. reading other peoples' horror stories about run-ins with these people, I'm kind of worried I will continue to be harassed with phone calls at odd hours of the day and night.

I've gotten two calls from this lady who wouldn't tell me what it was regarding without verifying my idenity she has called at least twice since then

well if you verify w/ them who you are, even by date of birth, they may have the wrong person entirely...would you want your personal information divulged to another person??

Basically, this number will harass you and try to scare you by stating they have a civil suit in the county where you live. The problem is, they are a debt collection agency try to collect their money. THERE IS NO LAW SUIT...They don't have the authority to notify you of a pending court date, the acutal county court does. So, that's when you know it's a lie. If you notice they say they are calling on behalf of a group of attorneys, but they fail to mention the name of the actual lawyer. They try to intimidate you by using false information. And when, and only when you finally agree to a settlement, they take your money and don't clear your account. They are liars, and basically just trying to make their commission. Be very cautious of these individuals, and like I said, they are a COLLECTIONS AGENCY....NOT LAWYERS. A lawyer will not waste their time and money trying to collect a miserly 300.00. A collections agency will. Be in mind, they are all just like car salesman. If they don't sell a car, they don't make an income. Same way with these guys, if they don't collect something, they make nothing....

These people called me for the 1st time almost exactly a year ago with last 4 of my ssn, where I worked at the time I "got a loan from Advanced America." I agreed to going to court to figure out where it came from because I have NEVER stepped foot, nor been on any web site, into an establishment like that. So they were to send me something in the mail stating when my court date was and what all the charges were. Never heard from them after that until this morning and let me tell you, the sh!^ hit the fan!! All I will say because waaayy to much happened is these people are HILARIOUS! I am BEGGING for you guys to call my phone again, BEGGING. I do NOT exist in Advance Americas' system and dont say I wouldn't because they "sold my account" because the MANAGER told me I would still come up and it would show "SOLD." So please, try me again. AMERICAN CAPITAL ASSOCIATES is a joke, HA HA HA! You THOUGHT you were gonna get some money from me and got mad that I shut you down! Manager, "TRAVIS CASEY" , told me never to call them back because I was requesting information, guess I was asking to many questions. What collection agency tells you never to call back. Really? Don't call back and I owe you some money?! SHUT THE FRONT DOOR! The address 1212 Abbott Rd Suite B Lackawanna, New York 14218 is a freakin GARAGE. You will NOT find office suites at this address. COLLECTOR X...you should be careful defending something like this. I understand you guys THINK theres no way of tracking who you guys are and where your coming from, believe me, it's NOT impossible. These people are harassing me with some uninnteligble name "that this call is intended for." They obviously have the wrong number.

I understand you are concerned, but do not get so worried.  They must provide you with written documentation regarding the debt.  They can not threaten you with legal action, court, or garnishment.  I understand because I am going through the same thing.  Although, American Capital has tried to collect the debt, they have now turned me over to a Company called Burns & Hoffmann who claim to be attorneys and are filing legal action.  I have turned this over to the Attorney General and my attorney.  File a complaint with your Attorney General and they may be able to hook you up with an attorney that enjoys going after this scums.  The attorney costs you nothing, win or lose because they are there to help you.  Also, if you can document all of the phone calls either by recording it, or keeping a log of the times, dates and the conversation.  Documentation is the key to getting them permanently shut down because it is evidence.  Will keep you posted on how it goes.

These people have called my cell phone several times, but I would let the calls go to voice mail. Today I decided to pick up the call and a woman kepy repeating hell. So I hung up. Called the number and discovered it's American Capitol Associates. They're looking for a Nicolette Bishop. I told them don' t know anyone by that name or ever met anyone with that name and not to ever call my number again or I would file a complaint with Ohio AG's office. I've had  my cell #  for six years and have gotten numerous calls looking for Nicolette Bishop. Whoever she is, she doesn't pay her bills or this is all a ruse.

Was looking for an Anita Braswell that gave my cell @ as an additional contact  Who is She?  Don't know her/\.  Was arguing with me that she gave this # out to get in contact with her.  I hung up on him.

I received a call from 716-200-4078, in which male caller who asked for Michael and some other name.  I then asked who this was.  He said it was a legal matter for a debt.  Well, I know WE don't have any outstanding debts, so I told him not to call again and hung up.  He immediately called back again.  I told him to quit calling or I was going to contact my attorney due to his harassment since we have NO outstanding debts.  Again, I told him not to call me again and hung up.  At that point, I dialed my attorney's number, and guess what?....this man HAD called again!  I immediately hung up and dialed the number I was calling.  I then wondered if I could find out about this caller on my computer and TA-DA...I am now reporting them as a nuisance caller.

I have received calls from people, of which I know are collection agencies, trying to get information from me about people who live on my street, my kids old friends, and the like.  I always ask "why are you calling me?  I don't know these people or where they are now".  This MUST be stopped!  Well, now I know I can look at my caller ID, enter the number on the computer, and REPORT THEM!!!

THEY CALLED ME FROM 877-249-1910. MR.STIA SAID MY HUSBAND HAD A OLD DEBT WITH CLOUT CREDIT CARD. I DECIDED TO PAY IT,BUT I POSTED A CHEMCK BY PHONE. I RESEARCHED THEM AND FOUND THEM TO BE FRADULENT, SO I CANCELED MY CHECK. MR.STIA STATED THAT THEY WOULD NOT DEBIT MY ACCOUNT. THEY DEBITED MY ACCOUNT ANYWAY UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME WHICH IS INTEGRITY MANAGEMENT GROUP. MY BANK IS HOPEFULLY GOING TO REFUND MY $850 BECAUSE I STOPPED PAYMENT ON THE CHECK AND I DID NOT AUTHORIZED AN ACH DEBIT. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. I FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY!!!
