I get the same caller regarding a payday loan that I did not get I believe someone has taken my information and used it because if I took a loan out and could not pay I would make arrangements to pay so I don't know how to prove it but they are harassing me and I'm sick of it where do I file a complaint HELP.....

A man called my number and said he would be sending a detective out with a warrant for a family member (not living here).  I am a 70 year old woman and can not take this kind of treatment..How can they tell such lies?

I was contacted by a Johnathan Duvalle  also, stating he was a paralegal also. I did do a $70 good faith payment on Monday and was told I had to have the remaining 410 payment today. They promised the would not run the prepayment card until Noon today, they lied. I am trying to get the money to put on the card and they ran it hours before they were suppose to. I insisted that they send me a letter stating who they were, the debt in question, etc... He said that they did mail me one 60 days ago. I told him that I never got such a letter and for him to resend it. He then got mad and rather rude saying that they never got the letter returned to them. I asked him if they sent it certified mail, he said no and is refusing to resend me the letter when I requested them to do so.

I also called him out on that I learned that they were a collection agency pretending to be a law firm and said that I know it is illegal, he got even madder at me, esp. when I insisted that he resend me the letter supposedly sent 60 days ago that I never got. Looks like I am going to be sued, but don't they have to prove that the letter was sent and received. He admitted that they did not send it via certified mail.

Is what he is saying to me legal or not?
Please advise.
 

I was left a threatening v-mail by an Anthony Thomas with arbritration office NPS stating that they have documents attached to my name and SS#.  He said that if myself or representative didn't repsond to their v-mail, my case would be handed over to the county where I lived for only two years.  People have repeatedly contacted my from this area code referring to this same subject matter for almost three years.  I check my personal credit every month and nothing has shown up from this alledged collection agency and I haven't been contacted by any law enforcement agency.  This is a total scam and law enforcement should do something about it.  

I received a call on my daughters phone that ask for me stating his name was Paul Stanton. He told her that it was concerning a summons to be filed in my state and that I needed to call him back. I would like to know how he even got the number when its private and unlisted. She put that number on the reject list. Something needs to be done about these people. If I knew who to call I would definitely report them.

this number is for a paul stanton from mps calling re galaxy online payday loans that have been written off they also texted my fiance telling him congrats he had won something giving details of my bills which is illegal i am reporting them to the atty generals in indiana and ny and ftc

watch out people these guys are real predators,they'll tell you they have "papers" filed that they'll send the sheriff,if you have a lawyer he /she should contact them immediately so and so on ITS A SCAM they are nothing more then a collection agency trying to collect on an old debit that was charged off years ago, Johnathan Duvalle is the guy that called me he said he was a paralegal and work for a "lawyer" so NOT true.....demand they don't call back and hang up.

I got a call from 404-381-8244 (search this site for info on that #), and I called it back. I got a guy on the phone that sounded like a guy that called me from 716-957-3161, so I hung up. He called me back from this number. Could Brewer, Michaels and Kane and Louis Shapiro, LLC be the same scam??? I think so!
