they were not trying to defraud her they were trying to figure out why a 93 year old had a credit card and didn't pay it there are usually three reasons for this. 1 the person completely forgot they had this. 2 life  or situation prevents this from being paid of 3 fraud. and let me tell you 90% of credit card fraud is committed from someone int he family ummmmmmm yeah i know high number but its the truth so now what will you do.

I have been getting a million calls from this number this week.  I called the Mark Poloncarz campaign office and they explained that it is not coming from them. It might be a smear campaign from Chris Collins or a someone else who is trying to annoy Democratic voters.

If you are a good Democrat, you will not be deterred!  Mark still has my vote despite these silly robo calls!

A lady called by daughter's house and left a message on her phone.  The caller used her first name which she does NOT use.  Told her they were trying to contact her father Larry.  Stated they have important information for me.  Told me to call this number and left office name.

Woman Named Erika Schott called my elderly mother looking for me.  Wouldn't say why, only that she had my mother's number as an alternate contact.  Asked me to call 716-250-4821.  I told my mother it was most likely a collection agency, and I have never given out her number as a contact.  I figure they looked up my married name then looked up my maiden name and call anyone listed with that last name.  My smart Mom told them nothing, and I told her to tell them to stop calling her.  Sheesh!  These collections companies will stop at nothing!

Thanks for showing your level of intelligence with your post. It's people like you that allow bottom feeders like Redline Recovery to exist. FYI for you, more than half the people in America are threatened and harassed by collection agencies AFTER going through identity theft. Next time, before you shout out another of your intelligent opinions, take five minutes to do a little homework and get your facts before you choose to call someone a deadbeat.

I got a phone call today from Redline Recovery. They were asking for the people who previously had our telephone number. The mand was quite rude when I informed him he had the wrong number and insisted I was the person in fact lying and hiding. After he screamed at me that I needed to pay him or he will call back the next day and the next day and they next day. I hung up on him. Only for him to spend the next two hours calling back every five minutes and leaving rude, cursed filled messages on our answering machine. Our Phone message clearly states our family name and not the name of these people. I don't know what to do? Aside from changing my phone number. We are always getting calls for these people, but this has been the absolute worse.

Just Hangs up.  This has been going on for over six months or so.

How can I stop them.

Listen jack***, whether money is owed or not there is no need for these a***oles to keep harrassing people. What ticks me of the most is how they retreive phone numbers that were never given to them. That sounds like fraud. Obvisouly the debt would be paid if the funds were available, and until they are available they need to back the f*** off and leave people alone. They aren't gonna get their money any quicker by harrassment. And is far as you go buddy- what were you doing in that 60 hour work week besides jerking off?

They called my mother's house and left a message. They said they got her info from me, which is false. They stated that they needed her to call them back regarding a "statement" about me. Very weird because I have absolutely no credit cards and owe nobody money. We have a lawyer taking care of their harassment.

How much did you take your creditors for? I guess you have never dialed a wrong number in your life. By the way, I just finished a 60 hour work week, when does your next welfare check come in so you can pay your bills.

Writing bad checks is a crime. I wouldn't advertise that fact about yourself. Who was the poor merchant you stole from? I hope it wasn't some small store owner just trying to make a living.

why don't you get a real job and stop bitching people out on the internet who likely don't owe anyone any money and are just being targeted by a cheap sleazy collections outfit?

Instead of sitting here whining about getting phone calls, why don't you all pick up the phone, call the people you borrowed the money from and pay them back the money you swore you would repay when you borrowed it? No need to deal with a collection agency, call your original creditor and give them their money back. If they have the wrong number then call them and tell so they can quit calling you. If you took someone's money, quit hiding like a child and own up to your responsibility.

Bud Says?

All of the owners in this organization came from various other debt collector back grounds from across the country. They jumped on the debt buying frenzy a few years ago to cash in on the endless flow of cheap, purchased paper. Their main call center is located in Buffalo, NY, run by Joe Moran, a man with a terrible reputation in the collection industry, earning him the nickname of ?Sleazy Joe.? The information received from current and former employees from Buffalo was of rampant drug use and a complete disregard for the FDCPA by the Buffalo collectors.  Of course all bottom feeders would like you to believe they are honest, reputable and operate in a business like fashion, however Redline never even made it out of the gate. They were tattooed with labels that befit most of the disgusting low-life organizations that operated in and around Buffalo, NY for the past few years.I predict that Redline will downsize greatly by year end, that the available paper will force them to rethink and reinvent, if they plan to survive. Their name and reputation will likely have a negative effect on their abilities to procure more business and they may end becoming a subsidiary of another organization or collecting other owner?s debts for a fraction of what they are now earning.

Redline has seen its bets days; the year ahead will be lean and problematic. Consumers are urged to make them spend as much money as possible in debt validation, forms and calls. Dispute anything/everything on credit reports, tape their calls, and go after them with the full force of the consumer law industry. They are not that strong, or won?t be as time goes on; this organization is too fat and thinks they are entrenched in an industry that is moving at warp speed. I would NOT pick Redline as a survivor in this game.

This person called my 93 year old mother and tried to convince her she was a friend of mine named Erika Schott.  No such person. Clearly someone trying to defraud the elderly. Shame on you. Shame on you. And the one that pays you.
