This is a total Scam.  They are even posting on this site to make people think that they are legit.  The office they claim to have in New Jersey is non-existent.  Offer to meet them in their office and see what happens.  Don't fall for it!

I recieved the exact same phone call, actaully he called my moms house with the same bull crap!!! I am offended because he upset my mother. What type of people are inthis world tody that have to uses scared tactics instead of being honest and saying " hey you owe a bill". I called this dude "william turner" back and cursed his a** out and he hung up on me!!   bastard

Investigtor William Turner Will use scare tactics to get you to pay but what he doesn`t  tell you is that they will take out double the amount you owe in return you will have  bad checks among other things he will mess up your life check him out first with your local county atty. before you agree to anything don`t do like me and be stupid

The man who called is William Turner, & I am ever so grateful for his call.  He saved me a lot of serious grief & worked out a mutually agreeable payment plan for a debt that was honestly mine, but which was old.  Since I had not previous-
ly received communication from the creditor regarding this, I had forgotten a-
bout it.
I have high respect & regard for him.

Steve - you are so correct. Anyone can claim to be an ivestigator. They are a low class collection agency that try to scare people to give them money for way more than the original debt. If you get a call from them demand they give you proof of this debt in writing and do not allow them to bully you. If they do know your rights. I have filed complaints with the BBB & FTC. I am also going to file with the State's Attorneys office.

Investigator? My gardener is "Lawn Investigator Sanchez". Orkin is a bug "investigator". Dont let these creeps scare you with their words. They really can't do ANYTHING unless they want to take you to court. The legal fees to take someone to court are way too expensive for most of these claims - unless you owe them like $50k or more - and thats the very low end. And if they do take you to court and win - collecting it costs them even more. Thats why its "unmanageable outside of court"  Before they try court they will look at your assets first to see if you have anything worth going after. If you dont have anything to take, there's no reason to come after you now, is there? If you do, look into some asset protection.

I RECEIVED A CALL FROM WILLIAM TURNER SAYING THAT THEY WAS A COURT ORDER BEING FILED AGAINST ME..I CONTACTED THE COUNTY CLERK AND SHE TOLD ME THAT THEY RECEIVED A CALL FROM INVESTIGATOR WILLIAM TURNER WANTING THERE FAX NUMBER TO SEND OVER A COMPLAINT THAT'S BEING FILED AGAINST ME...I IN TURN CALLED MR.TURNER BACK AND GOT THE ISSUE RESOLVED.THIS GUY IS THE REAL DEAL, SO IF HE CALLS YOU ITS NOT A JOKE...THIS GUY IS FOR REAL..

i also received a phone call from investigator william turner..he stated that i owed a payday loan for $1400.00.i knew i owed 2 of them but thought that i would pay them directly to the company that i received them from.when i called the loan company they told me they can no longer deal with me because it has been sent out for prosecution. i called william turner back and thank god he handle it for me before anything else happened.i have since sent him a thank you card thanking him for working this out with me.

I received a call from a Mr.Turner saying that their we charges being brought against me..and come to find out that thay were true...he gave me an opportunity to make restitution...which i did thank god...this guy is the real deal!!

I received a voicemail message on my work line yesterday morning from a gentleman named "Investigator William Turner" and that I was to return his phone call ASAP to 716-332-1862 in regards to criminal charges and a summons being issued out on me for "malicious intent to fraud a bank" and "bad checks". When I phoned Mr. Turner, I was advised that I was facing felony criminal charges and that he was simply calling to "warn me" and that he was in touch with my local States Attorney office and that the local Sheriffs department would be coming to arrest me within in hours. I asked Mr. Turner what this was in regards to and he said "you dont know what this is about"? and "hasnt the Sheriffs department been to your house yet"? He advised me that I owed moneys to an unspecified source and that I owed more than $2,000???? I asked him with whom and how can I resolve this matter. He then transferred me to Andrew Palmer.

I keep getting calls from this man.  I had a payday loan and defaulted on the loan.  Can they arrest you for this or just summons you to court?

I got a phone call from a MR.TURNER saying that there were charges being brought against me for a bad check that i wrote 18 months ago...he stated that he would be contacting my local county clerk as well as D.A...after i ignored his call a sheriff from my local police dept came to my house to serve me with a summons to appear...THIS GUY IS FOR  REAL!!!

I received a phone call from this number from Inspector Castone, asking me to notify my neighbors that he was trying to contact them.

I received a call from an investigator who knew my address and last four digits of my SSN.  Said it was about a payday loan I "took out".
