I got same text here in FL to call the 716 #,  I thought maybe it was a collection agency being sneaky, but when I put in the number online, I got this site.  How can we stop this s***?  How do you block a # on your cell phone?  I don't think it's from Facebook because I don't have my # on there.

I got a text on my phone and my husbands phone saying it was from Indiana Bank and Trust and it gave a number for us to call back but when you call it back it says that there is a master card in our name that has been locked and press 1 to reactivate and 2 to end the call. Im not sure if this is a scam or not but this is a New York number from Buffalo and we do not have accounts with Indiana Bank and Trust. The last I knew Indiana Bank and Trust has been taken over by Fifth Third Bank. Can anyone help me is this a scam or what do I need to do.

I just got a text from an Unverified-Sender (9171232276).  It says it is from Indiana Bank & Trust ESDP alert 594951.  It also wants me to call 1(716)541-0164.  I am so not calling it.  I did a reverse lookup and it is a number out of Buffalo New York.

I got a text message saying it was from my bank and they used the correct bank name. That worries me. How did they get that info? I'm going to the bank tomorrow. I may end up with a new account. Evil people piss me off. The text said it was a bank FUXT alert. Thanks to all the posts I know this is a scam.

My husband and I both received voice mails from this number.  They indicate they are from Indiana Bank & Trust and this is an 'alert'.  They give another number to call.

i got a text on my cell phone and it said  indiana bank & trust with other stuff in it and said please call the number all u said and i traced it and its all the way in buffalo new york so if i get another text im going to get mad and tell them to shut up before i hav the authorities on their a***s

Just received a text from (unverified sender) 917-692-8124 "Indiana bank & trust DYNB alert 234957.  Please call 716-541-0164."  Thanks to all of you guys, I know this is a hoax.  Thanks a bunch.

I just received a text on my cell from 9177328232.  Saying Indiana Bank and Trust  RJVT alert 384962.  Please call 716 541 0164.  Hopefully nobody falls for this scam.  Glad I googled this phone number.

I have never applied for a pay day loan either.

Anyway we can submit this number to gay sex lines, so that they'll get call backs 24/7?

And if one hung up right away you think i'm safe from them?

A text from this number said I needed to call Indiana Bank & Trust regarding QAGB alert 812275, and to call 917-625-5867. Not my bank so I did not respond to the scam.

just got that too!  I don't even have an account with Indiana B & T but my wife does and she set up my original account.  So I called like a dope.  I got a recording to activate something i hung right away.  A***oles!

Same as everyone else. I read further down the thread that they get your number from some agency that tracks payday loans, which is interesting because I've never applied for a payday loan.

I got a text message from an unverified sender stating that my bank had a JARZ alert and to call this number.  Needless to say I will not be calling and will be reporting this to my bank first thing in the morning.

To Indianajohn and everyone-I found a comment from someone on whocallsme where they compiled everything they could find on these companies plus how crime bureaus handle complaints, what your rights are and how to defend yourselves. It can be found under 8043185476.

Interesting because I used to live in Indiana but have since moved away.  I have never used IBT.  I'm glad that I knew it was a scam, but worry about people who wouldn't know any better.

My husband I both got text messages on our phones from same number.  This is ridiculous.  Now they send scam text messages.  It also came up as Unverified Sender.

I got a text message from this number that said it was a mastercard alert for Indiana bank and trust and to call this number back.  I texted them back telling them to stop trying to steal from people and get a f****ng job.  I dont know how they are getting cell phone numbers.  Everyone should report them to the attorney general.

I got the same messages. Glad I got on here and saw it.

Thought it odd on a Sunday, for a bank to send notices. And I don't have an account with this bank. So I put the number in Google and found this string. Looks like they switched tactics -- from phone harassment to text harassment! My phone identified the sender # as "UnverifiedSender.

I'm so glad I found this page and see that this is a scam. I'm calling Better Business Bureau on monday.

Got the same text except mine was a zjap alert. same number. I will be reporting this to IBT so they know that someone is using their name.
