Left message saying he was Jason Rieling (spelling?)and referrred to an unfamiliar case number. His message was very vague saying he's processing a case and wants to talk about it. He didn't represent himself as a lawyer or reference a specific case.

It's Creditors Interchange of Buffalo, NY...Typical insinuations of sending to cllections and legal action if you don't buddy up with them. 716-614-7533 is the number they give to call back.

I'm so grateful to get all the info on this site. I just got a call from these jerks and was very concerned. I'm not behind on any bills or in collections for anything so I'm not sure why on earth they called me or how they got my number. All I know is that the guy said his name is Michael and he was dismissive, secretive and rude. I will certainly register a complaint at the FTC if they dare call me again.

?Rubber Duck? Reports:

In a fairly recent 2008 memorandum decision in the Supreme Court of New York State, the modus operandi, and therefore inherent personification of the entity, ?Creditor Interchange?, its ownership, management and counselor?s is made public for all to see.

Although the defendant was ultimately awarded dismissal, the plaintiff?s reference to the use of misleading oral promises, as well of employing ?dark legal practice? in the phrasing of written contracts by Creditor Interchange is eloquently described within the context of the decision, and could be construed as a warning to others deliberating on whether to enter into any business agreements with the parent company, Credint Holdings, LLC, Creditor Interchange, LLC, its ownership, management, counselor?s and others, directly or indirectly involved with its affiliated businesses and/or ad hoc associations.

The text of the above referenced proceeding is posted on the internet at: http://www.nycourts.gov/courts/comdiv/PDFs/8th%20JD%20DOIs/Gouchie%20MD.pdf

The plaintiff in the proceeding, Mr. Kenneth Gouchie, may or may not be petitioned for advice regarding Creditor Interchange and his original complaint. It?s possible that he may be contacted at:
Kenneth P. Gouchie
1800 Highland Ave
Fall River, MA 02720
(508) 567-3395

It is of additional interest that the planned acquisition of Creditor Interchange by Debt Resolve, Inc. (AMEX: DRV), terminated by the buyer, was due to Creditors Interchange?s breach of its representations and warranties under the purchase agreement related to its financial condition as well as the existence of a material adverse change in the financial condition of Creditors Interchange.

Debt Resolve Co-Chairman and CEO, James D. Burchetta said: "We are extremely disappointed we had to terminate our efforts to acquire Creditors Interchange. Unfortunately, the deterioration of the financial condition of Creditors Interchange left us no choice.?

These people continuously call and leave voicemails threatening legal action.  They even called my parent's house (I'm 35 yrs old)!  The person who has called me is Paula Swain and she is rude.  I am settling my debts through a company and they refuse to hear it.  I'm going to take other people's advice and send them a fax telling them not to contact me so that it is documented.

Creditors Interchange is totally wrong in their business practices and you can file a complaint at ftc.org and also consult an attorney who can recover monies for you up to $1000.00 per incident. Never can they legally talk with third party individuals about you or contact you after being told once that they are not to call again.

They pretty much told me the same, said that they were going to send a summons.  I too am working with a debt management company.  This person "Amy" told me that they did not work with any of those companies and that all they do is lie and take your money.
I check my caller I.D. on my phone everyday, and everyday I see the "500-000-0000".  However, I happen to have my fax machine plugged into my phone so the loud whistle is what they're getting.  I'm surprised that they're not calling my cell phone (which they've done once).

these people dont let up and use a "authoritative" tone and try to make themselves sound like there somebody important..theres also another # in which they call from 1877-770-6335 (same company Creditors Interchange)...there was a woman whos name i forget (something like elizabeth) called several times in the beginning of the month and than sum nit-wit named "Ron Screwzinsky" ext 3551 who i actually spoke to and spoke 100mph.when i told him that i was working with a company to settle the debt he shot that down and stated that they only deal with a "select" few companies and that if i didnt agree with the "settlement at hand" that no more courtesy would be extended and that he will be "rendering a business decision to secure this investment and to tend to my affairs" and i MUST choose by 1pm eastern..and than it changed to 5pm eastern and than guess what??? they called again days later..HAHAHA
dont they realize how dumb it is to make such threats and how stupid they look when they insist on calling over and over again after there "final warnings"??? idiots..
Also when i told him that id like to see it in writing (who the hell in there right mind would just fork over money on something without anything written down) he said "theres no time.it MUST be done TODAY" and to use another credit card to pay them,etc....i should have just hung up on him but it started becoming interesting to hear him squirm.real aggressive people over there...
now theres some real bi*** of a woman calling named "Lisa Farrow"...im actually looking foward to the next message they leave.

Said his name was Jimmy Wise and that he represented Bank of America. Was extremely rude and demeaning. Said he would call me the next day "same bat time, same bat channel" to quote him, even though I was at work. I told him I did not want him calling me at work and that I would be glad to fax out a do not call request, he told me he would not give me the fax number and that he would call me whenever he wanted because he ran things. Refused to talk to the person who is working with us in settling our debts.
