These people are using the name of Mr. Richard Rothman who is actually in US Embassy Mumbai. The claimant is a cheat. He has 2-5 people group across India and one in US. Daryl David is also a part of his team. They are into fake job scam robbing millions from youngsters looking for jobs abroad. All pretend to be real, but every one supports the other. They have accounts in A,B,C cities in India. But they withdraw money from ATM through X,Y, Z cities. If you find anything thing about them , please inform US High Commission.

I just got a call from the same number concerning Investigation Dicision its just a collection agency trying a new trick marc rothman is a bill collector,,,,,FYI IS A COLLECTION AGENCY TRYING A NEW TRICK,,,,THEY ARE SO HARD UP FOR MONEY THAT THEY DO FAKE POST..

Received same threatening pre-recorded message as everyone listed; banking/lawyer illegalities; federal criminal investigations; etc.  After reading the complaints listed, I called 888-266-4194 and got the "Investigation Division".  Female picked up the line and asked if my number was for someone named "Laurie".  After confirming it was not, she advised that my phone number would be removed from their computer file.  She advised that they had problems with incorrect numbers being relogged into their system after an update.  Total nonsense!!
Hope everyone involved in this scam get the karma they deserve.

same here, they've called me and left voice-mails saying my name was involved something criminal, i think these are a bunch of bums in a basement threatening people over the phone

Exactly what I recieved today. an "urgent" message without addressing my name. Phone nmber was 716-778-1230, or 888-266-4194.  Said I needed to prove I was cooperative with the authorities. Looks like another form of phishing.

I got a call from a Richard Rothman today. Telling me that I had to call to clear this matter up immediately. A couple of days ago, I got a call from the same company. I called them yesterday. A person that used to live at my address is using my telephone on credit apps..
I am calling attorney generals office about this scammer's.

Stephen Scott calling about bank-to-bank lawyer fraud affecting my phone number, residence, and social security number.  I must call him back today so that he can report that I am being cooperative and compliant.  I need to call him back at this direct number or at 8882664194 (check out that number on 800notes for more abusive calls).

They won't stop calling.. Don't know who this is and it isn't my bill.  I keep telling
the people this, but they just ignore the calls.  One day somebody called me 14
times and this went on for several days.

called my job , is a pre recorded message aomethng about wire fraud , I have received calls like this in the past , they are a bunch of bull ,,,,, can't get them to stop calling my job because they do not identify the company name

i ignored the message , 2 days latter the sheriffs department were knocking on my door , please dont blow this off as a "telemarketer" ... i had to pay the price , and i feel bad for anyone else that has to deal with this trauma !

I got a very harassing phone call from this number.  The man was very menacing.  I've gotten a call from him several times.

Here we go again!  Young male voice (spoke very good English) called at about 4:00 pm. Must have been pre-recorded message, because he did not respond when I started talking. He told me it was a "very important matter" and that if I want to avoid a lawsuit and possible jail time, I should call the number provided immediately. I didn't have time to write down the number. I'll be adding it to my blocked call list and reporting it to http://800notes.com. The area code is for Newfane, New York, which is near Buffalo/Niagara Falls.
