Keep getting calls, but will NOT answer them.  I'd say about 2-4 times a day now ... even on weekends.  If anyone knows who this is, please let us all know.

I got calls from this number on my cell and at work. Odd?

This guy is an a**. He makes a living off of getting other peoples information over the phone by saying he works for a credit card agency, trying to help bring your monthly payments down. Once you give him the information he'll say he'll take care of it and will call you back. I gave him fake information cause I knew it was a joke. This guy calls at 12 at night so I know he's not from a credit card company. I called him back last weekend and he actually picked up and said " It's 3 in the morning what's your problem?" So I told him I worked for the IRS and he was being audited and he hung up. I haven't gotten any calls from him since.

They called me today and he is indeed from Continental Finance company and he is legit, although worrysome. He verified all of my information along with me and even notated on my acct the information i provided him. I know this because I then called the number on the back of my credit card and the information which I had just provided was on my file. Don't worry, just pay them. :) I know that its bothersome because sometimes they will call on the due date even.

This number calls and lets it ring one time.  They do not let me answer it and they just hang up.  It happens about 6 times a day and it starts at about 8:00 AM and go to after dinner.

They called, asked for me, then hung up in my face. I called them back and its  From Continental but not sure why they called cuz i did a settlement.

All of you know that you can Settle before they send it to a collection agency for less than what you really owe.

I explained it to the HEFFA who called and she told me that i would not receive anymore calls.

I have no idea why this dude is calling me! He calls about 5 times every day at the same time. If this is "Continental Finance" why are they calling me, a 14 yr. old teenager?

Yeah some guy call from this number and asked for someone and I asked him "may I ask who's calling." He still sayed "can I speak with blank." I said what is this pertaining to? He didn't answer either of my questions and said I need to speak with blank! If you get a call from these clowns tell them stop calling they just want to punk you out of your information and/or money!

Totally agree. They call up to x5 daily at our office phone. Same here, we answer the phone & they just hang up immediately.

I have no dealings, nor have I ever heard of Continental Credit Card Co.

I keep getting these calls also... a pain.

This number shows up on my cell phone (at least 5 times a day) but there is no one on the other end.

Caller ID identifies the number- but there is no one there, and no message.  I do not owe Continental Finance any money--as suggested by another report, so what's the deal?  These calls just can't be legit. And they are annoying, coming at least twice a day.  If it is Continental, they should do something about the phone number problem.

The guy that works with this company is actually calling from his cell phone. he works for the company but I have no accounts with them and he asked for me, so he can get my information but he's doing it to get credit in someone elses name.

This is Continental Finance Credit Card Company... They will stop calling if you talk to them! There understanding more then other credit card companies, inform them of your issue they will work it out with you> Hope this helps

the 716.844.3237 comes through at all times of the day/night. it seems whomever had this cell # before me was very popular with all types of telemarketing/collections, etc.  she also seems to owe amscott a lot of money on a loan that she defaulted on...when they called, it just so happens that her first name is elizabeth (as is mine) and i thought it was weird they were calling about a loan i didn't have out...and voila`, that's how i found out she's a 'take it and run' type of girl.  i think that i'm just going to have to pay out and get a new number.
