I got a call from Phillip, Edward & Jones & they acted like I called them. I told them my phone rang, I said hello & they were on the line. Course my caller ID proves they called. Funny thing is a couple hours ago I got a call on a credit card that I had 20 years ago & they said I owed something. I don't.  Sounds like we got a couple companies that are working together here trying to scare someone.  But it won't be me.

Called my NEW in-laws. Just got married Oct 2009 and today 2/11/2010 they received a message on their home phone that they needed a call back regarding a legal case for me. How they got my IN-LAWS number I'll never know. They don't even have my last name...and this was a marriage less than 4 months ago!

They called again!!! And she hung up on me when I told her that I had asked for the number to be removed because it they had the wrong number.

Phillip Everett & Jones called my place of employment and called my HR dept.  I asked for proof by email or fax.None was sent.They claimed papers were mailed. I can't get any information from them.One person named Stan Clyburn or Clyborn 888-855-1995 ext 216 don't know him.I asked who speaking to Anthony Sai.Asked about four times for names.Another phone number called 716-995-2927 called my employment.Caller ID has no ID nor will they give info.I owe less $350.00 on loan I paid more than what I owe.They want to charge me $$611.22.I filed with State Attorneys office in New york and other States.I filed papers with local police.They told HR dept and ask for my address.When I called, they knew everything about me. I am filing ID theft on them and finding who they are. It scares me alot and am afraid of them.My atorney is looking into this matter.

Contact my HR dept I called them they already knew my address and info.weird.i asked for verification letter proof they said already sent letter. I didn't see it.  hung with them and called back within 10 minutes.don't know who they are and won't show proof.I contacted my state attorney generals office and NY state attorney general office. I also received calls from 888-855-1995 and calls from  716-995-2927.I am having them investigated and turning them to local authorities...These are scam artist.No attorneys will return your call within 2 second...

Received voice recorded message from this number at work for a Don/Dawn Smith, who doesn't work here. They left an account number and the last 4 of the SS#. I called the number back and they said the number they called from their records. We shall see...

thats because it is .. i would advise anybody not to pay a collection company that poses as a law office. the only attorney in the building is a family cout attorney who handles divorce HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH COLLECTIONS. think about it taken to court over a 300.00 payday loan NOT GONNA HAPPEN!! DO NOT PAY THEM !!! over 1000.00 in fees were added to the balance that you DO NOT HAVE TO PAY  contact the loan company first to find out what you REALLY owe. there is no such fees as collection fees, investagation fees or attorney fees THEY DONT HAVE AN ATTORNEY THEY ARENT EVEN A LAW OFFICE!!!!

how you deal with them? you file a complaint with your atorney general. this is not a law office. they cant touch you. file a summons for your apperance in court on a 300.00 payday loan i dont think so. how can they do that when they dont have an attorney. also how can they add 1000.00 in fees to the balance ??? its all a scam.

I received a call from my grandmother stating that an attorney had called saying that they were going to sue me for Fraud for a loan I took out from Cash Net. The attorney's (I talk to different ones all the time)  are very aggressive, they call leaving threatening messages on my cell phone, and record all my payment arrangements. I'm not able to find a credible website for them, and now I'm afraid that all the money I've been sending them is for nothing.

If you find out anything about this please let me know. I'm currently in a payment arrangement with them, and have payed them at least $500.00 so far. I am paying off a payday loan from Cash Net. I was busy working and when I got home my cousin who I have been stay with said these guys caled sAYING i HAD BEEN in a social sercurity scam  and wanted to get to the bottom of it or I would be supenieded thanks to you I know it was a scam so I called this # and left them a very unplesant message telling them not to try this bull with me 716-995-2927 extension 215 this is # they left me so I would not believe anything these people have to say

I was just reading your email today I received a call from this company saying those exact words that if I don't call them back that they will come to my job and issue a summons or take legal actions against me. I never heard of them until now and according to my cr record they are no were on it so this is a bunch of crock, how did you deal with them.

Tried calling number back to find out what they want and get error message that call can not be completed as dialed. i think these peeps have nothing better to do than harass-n i work nights and sleeps days so this is extrmely annoying, so i plan to just answer next time to give them a piece of my mind.

They called me a ton of times leaving nasty messages and I finally called them back thinking that I was doing the right thing... I spoke with someone and set up a payment arrangement to pay off the past due debt that I did in fact owe. The man I spoke with (Mr. Sigh??) was very friendly and worked with me to make an arrangement that I could handle. I was set up to pay four payments and my debt would be cleared. One month, they didnt take my payment on the specified date and I contacted them to see what was up. They told me my card was declined, which was BS and I told them to run it again. He called me back and said that it wasnt declined but that they had "forgot" to process the payment. I didnt think much of it until this month when my last payment was due. They took the amount agreed upon out on the date agreed upon... well then 3 days later they charge me the SAME amount TWICE and overdrafted my account... I called and left a message with this Mr. Sigh person and havent heard back yet. If they do not refund my money IMMEDIATELY and provide VALID PROOF that my past debt is paid in full and that my card will NO LONGER be charged for any amount what so ever... I'm contacting MY ATTORNEY. These forums have me scared to death that I've been scammed now...

Only problem is they have NO license in my state, (or any other) so they can't legally do business, so my lawyer says they can't legally file any suits.

hhhh, i got same thing today on my machine only about my sister-in-law also stating it was washington county and i would be sent a summons if i did not call back and " clear my name"...... i think it a bunch of BS or some debt collector crap.

They called my 75 year old father in Ohio about his granddaughter in Wisconsin. They made it seem like a summons and they would contact Washington Co. ( worried him that she was going to be arrested).

These people called my brother about a supposed debt I owe (not sure if it's legitimate or not) and told him that they would send a summons to him if he didn't return their phone call.  Can't something be done about these people?  My brother was worried sick!

Said they were going to send a summons to appear in court either to my house or job.
