Called today at 9:19 AM, no message. If I talk to them, I'll make sure to tell them I'll give the donation directly to the PA State Trooper who lives down the road from me, and if they'll just give me their name, I'll make sure he gets it to them.

I got a call from this number tonight. Unknown caller. I bet it was President Obama or Mr. Romney! I should have answered and talked to them about unknown callers.

Caller from this number wanted donation to help train new police in Mercer County, PA (my residence county). I told them I do not make contributions in response to phone calls, but said they could send me information and I would consider it. He asked if I would agree to make the minimum contribution of $15 if they sent me something, and I refused, reiterating that he could send me information for consideration. He said maybe I could help the next time, and hung up.

This is a scam - they are claiming to be collecting donations for the PA State Police Commissioners fro training - the State Police do not use telephone solicitors for donations. They were calling from (717) 283-1058 previously.
