Got the call saying that he was starting an investigation against me. Seemed to have an Asian/Indian sort of accent. A complete scam.

My mother got this call today and they claim to be an officer again with a bad accent saying I'm a crime suspect and I need to call them. The same people called from a 626 number. It's annoying and if I find out who they are they are getting a harassment law suit. But chances are they are probably in India or Nigeria or something

They claimed to be some sort of government official and then made various threats regarding my access to government services being cut off if I didn't call them back. It was obviously an Indian guy faking an American accent (really badly, by the way) and claiming to be "Officer Jack Green".
