Missed the call but just went to a Women's Fair this weekend and suspect that this is where they got my number. Not cool.

I got this call after attending a bridal expo! Said I had just won my honeymoon. I can't even tell you how upset I was when they started asking for money and credit card information. Not only had I won the bahamas trip, I also won a trip to vegas and a trip to mexico....three trips for one ballot? this was insane, and a girl who came with me ended up getting called after I ignored his second call. Clearly everyone at the expo won the same honeymoon. Never again.

Yep - "Won" a trip to the Bahamas but was offered the special deal of $199 per person - didn't ask for my credit card number for verification but did want me to sign up. Won't let you take time to discuss with anyone the offer. it is a do it now or forget it kind of thing. And not only pay for the trip but also must tour two different resorts while your at it.
at least the guy on the phone was nice when I said I wouldn't do it.

I also went to the friendship festival and got the same call. Will know what to tell them when they call back.
| Steve 2011-06-06 20:55:38 Unknown |
Thank you for the warning - I signed up for a draw to get a motorcycle, or 15 000$ at the Fort Erie Friendship Festival & got a call from these guys in New York today at work on my cell phone.
Apparently I "won" a trip to the Bahamas. The first thing they asked, after telling me that - was "for verification purposes" - my credit card number & expiration date - they said "any card is OK - we just have to prove that you're a valid credit card holder".... yeah..... right.
I told them to call me back at a specific date/time because I was at work. They said "if there are any vacation trips left - we will".
So..... if I won the vacation.... why are they giving my trip away????? Why do they need my credit card without even telling me anything about who they are? They want info - and rush to get it out of you. Scam!

definitely a scam that is still in business what I wanna know is how they get your info is it the booth at the show that is running these scams or are they just getting our info from the draw boxes somehow?

I had recieved 4 calls from this company from 3 different phone numbers which i ignored all of. they tried scamming my friend by charging his VISA $1500! luckly his limit is $1000 and warning flags went up to the bank and they informed him and changed his card number. this is a very useful place for this stuff

This call is related to Bahamas Celebration cruises which has a lot of unhappy clients. This number called and an agent named Imelda informed me of "winning" a discount cruise and vacation package. Beware!
