It's the Franklin Mint, ordered coins from them 1-2 years ago and call atleast once a day.  Never leave message and hang up.

Call every day and will not identify who the are and why they are calling. I am on the national no call list

The franklin mint are idiots. I answered the phone when they called me last year and demanded to be off the call list. The man assured me i would. The calls stopped until the first of the year and here they are annoying me again. If any one wants to do buisness with the Franklin mint, one consumer to another, i stronly advise you not to!

I had the same issue, they call but dont say anything.  When I called the # back, it said the number I am calling is no longer in service!?!?!  (I wish, then they wouldnt call!!)  From other posts, sounds like its Franklin Mint.  I did order from them over 3 yrs ago, thats insane they are starting to call again now!!  Its so annoying!  UGH!

They called me today and I answered. It was a man who knew my first name. I asked who it was and he gave me a name and said I ordered some coins a few years ago then he hung up.I have only ordered coins from the US Mint so I am curios if the mint sold my info to someone else.

They call all the time, no message.  It is a pain.  Seems like everytime I take a nap, they call.  I am on the no call list, but it doesn't help.  Creeps don't follow the rules.  Hope someone can determine who this is.

Receiving calls from this number, they do not say anything if the call is answered and do not leave a message if call is sent to voicemail.  I am on the do not call list, however, this company continues to call me.

I am in west central Florida. I received a call from this number at 3:41pm this afternoon (03/16/10) on my cell phone.  Tried to call the number back at 7:23 this evening and got a message that the number had been disconnected.  Could possibly be an outgoing call only line that is used for some type of marketing.  My number has been on the National Do Not Call list for some time now so the people placing these calls obviously have no regard for the list.  Will report it to the registry and see what happens but surely will not hold my breath waiting for something to be done. The call coming from Queens, NY is a red flag in itself to me as I know no one nor do I have any business with any firm in that area.

Harrassing phone calls from this number. I called Franklin Mint last year and asked to be put on their no-call list. They politely said OK. I still receive calls and they hang up without saying anything. A few times last year I got obscense calls from them and I notified the company. They said the company they use was responsible. How do I stop these calls. I have ordered from them.

I have never before today (2/04/2010) got any calls like this on my cellphone...

The question is ... what is the real reason these calls are being made???

I don't know anyone in the 718 area code...

I think these calls have a hidden purpose, but what that purpose is who knows??? It's somebody up to no good more than likely...

I get one or two calls from them each business day.  The number 718-340-4700 is associated with the Franklin or Morgan mint (I think the two are affiliated), and I suspect the 4799 number is too.  I had an address for a dealer in the Long Island City/Astoria section of Queens, but now can't find it.  Up until six months ago I was getting actual harassing (live) phone calls from the Franklin Mint, even though I haven't bought anything from them in roughly 30 years.

I get a call from this number every evening around 7:30 to 8:00. T-mobiles says there is nothing they can do.

Get the same .I live in CT.8 p.m. Monday.# not in service.I looked up 'White Pages" and there was an ad saying the number is unlisted and if I text it to a different number I will get the owner info for $1.99 billed.

Made a typo it is 718-340-4799.  Rang them back, got a this is a disconnected number message... Just a pain, they are searching for good number.  Hope one of these days I get a person...they better protect their ears.

Above says it is the Franklin Mint.  Makes me wonder is it a computer dial and their lines are busy.  I try to ignore it, but they caught me tonight waiting for the doctor to call.  It is a call-hangup, really ticks me off.  If it is Franklin Mint...no business from me if that is their sales force way of doing business...on the no call list and told them a year ago to stop calling me, but it was a different number then.

This person calls my cell phone number at least three to four times per week. When I answer this New York City placed call, someone listens for a moment then hangs up. No messages are ever left. Although I am on the "do not call list," like many rules and regulations, little if anything is ever done about such lossers in society.

Get this call about once a month.  Never leaves a message and when I answer I get no information.  Based out of Queens and may be a boiler room call center.  Queens isnt your premium address for legitimate businesses anyway.
