I received a call at 8 pm on 11/30/10 stating that my debit card had been cancelled due to security reasons. I was instructed to press 1 to reinstate the card. I hung up suspecting a scam. It is !! I contacted my bank this morning and my card is fine.

My husband's cell just got this call. I thought maybe it was a possible job recruiter but decided to Google it first (as I'm prone to doing these days for unrecognized, out-of-area numbers) and found several web sites with users all saying the same thing: SCAM.
So guess who is NOT getting a return call?

Got a call at 5AM! saying my mastercard account is frozen due to security breach. The automated system wanted credit card number. Smells like a SCAM!

Got a call from this number at 1500 on 4-17-2011.Did not answer it and they did not leave a message. They need to STOP calling people randomly.

My husband and I got simultaneous calls on our cell's from this number. Didn't respond since neither of us even have a debit card. Called the number back and got some medical place in NY, tried to talk to the accounting department but got voice mail. Definetly a SCAM.

I got the same recorded call asking for my debit card number. Scam. Do not respond. This isn't the first type of unsolicited call I've received on my cell. Where do we report these kind of calls?

Received a call 1-14-11 from this number indicating security breach on debit card and automated voice wanted all information. I notified my bank and found this site by tracking the phone number.

Scam!!!!! Call ID'ing back, this # gives a "healthcare" based system menu prompt, which will create the same money scam! AVOID & REPORT TO POLICE!!!!!!

I also received one at 8:25 pm Tuesday. My bank is closed until 8am tom. This definitely is a scam.

I got a call from this number saying that my debit mastercard had been deactivated because of a security breach please press 1 to access our secure line. I hung up and called our bank to report it...
