This number has been calling me all morning saying absolutely nothing. Everytime I pick up they hang up. Really??? Who does that!!? What can I do to permanently block this number from calling me?

We never started getting any of these annoying calls until we replied to an add on craigslist.com for free carpet. The lady replied to my email 2 days after I emailed her she replied back from the email address <mildredrussell970@yahoo.com> This is what she says:

Sorry that I didnt reply earlier, I already had promised this to the first person who emailed me but she didnt get back to my email. Are you still interested?
Ive got an event at my son's school tomorrow but then Ill be home for a few days. Let me know when you'll be around.

NO CALL

They called me so many times today i finally turned my phone off for a couple of hours just to get some peace---and the second i turned it back on guess who called?! These idiots are driving me insane!!!

This number has been calling my home phone for a few weeks now, but earlier today they literally called every 10 minutes for two straight hours. When I answer it's almost always the weird (creepy) silence, but every now and then I'll hear beeps or something. Today I just let the machine get it (like normal) and once I got a message saying "Beeep! Goodbye." Very weird.
I filed a complaint on FCC.gov and I highly recommend everyone does. If enough people complain about these jerks, hopefully they'll get shut down. Also, contacting your phone company and asking them to block the number due to harassment is an excellent plan.

This number has called me eight times today and it is only 4 pm.  I have been ignoring them but I just answered and they did not say anything.  I have put my number on the "National Do Not Call List," but apparently it takes a full month to go into effect.  Maybe I'm wrong, but this is driving me insane.  This needs to stop.

I keep getting these calls also. The have been calling for the past 2 days. Every 15 to 30 minutes and all I get is this is not a valid extention. This is very annoying and I havent been able to find a way to stop it. I just let my answering machine pick up the call but that doesnt seem to bother them. They just keep calling.

This is f****ng crazy its extremly annoying I am contacting the service provider who has there number so if you want you can find out more from me if you send me a email kdavis@mldmortgage.com they call my office at least 40 times per day and it needs to stop

This number has been calling all day everyday for about a week. I call it back and it says "Thank you for calling the education resource center, we contacted you because of your recent interest in furthering your education. Press 2 if you want us to call you back. Press 3 if you are not interested at this time. Press 4 if you want to remove your number from our call list". I pressed 4 last week and it did not work. Then I tried Press 2 to see if they would call me back and nobody did. Has anyone found a solution yet?

I am so tired of this number calling me and not saying anything. Sometimes when this number calls there is heavy breathing, then there is nothing and then they hung up. I have tested them in the past two days and from 8 am to 12 midnight they will call every 30 mins or every 1 hours... even calls on Sunday which I thought was against the law anyways. PLEASE have them to stop calling me!

I let my machine pick up the the call, and for the first time, I heard a woman saying I don't think there is anybody there and she said, " hello," "hello", "hello". All the while I heard, what sounded like a woman and some children in the background. It sounded like it might be someone's home.

It sounded like the children were playing. She called two more times after that.

I just reported it to my local PUC call and keep reporting it. Also check with your phone company for blocking numbers and block it. They have called me 10 times today filled up my answereing machine with silence. Very ANNOYED.

This number has called my house 15 times today and nobody is there when I do answer. When I call the number back all I get is thank you good bye.. wtf!! how can you find out who is calling???
