They call every couple of week, I ask them to stop, they keep calling me! I wish they could be arrested and charged with a harassment crime.

They ask for your Con Ed account number so they can slam you on your bill. That's to say once they get your number, they'll change your service to theirs without your permission or knowledge. Some so-calLed energy compANY tried this scam with me some time ago by the name of AMBIT. Guy wanted to see my bill and had his camera phone in hand. Told him to get lost or I call the cops.

Have receives several calls from this number stating they can help me with the electric bill. I spoke with a live operators and she asked for my CON Edison account number. Little did she know I live in coop and the utilities are part of my maintenance. I asked to stop calling me and they disconnected.

I just hung up. It's a Bronx Landline & a repeat offender with a new number & an updated scam reflecting Post Sandy situation offering assistance
