The man called himself Ryan Scott when speaking with my wife.

These guys are scammers.  We owe no money.  They called and harassed my wife at her employment. Very belligerent.

They are scammers!! ....If you have ever taken a payday loan or some other monetary transaction online. -your information may have been sold to them. So even if you don't owe anyone, they call and threaten and scare you to try and get you to send them money.... The accents are foriegn but they give you very American sounding names and legitamate sounding company names.... They threaten you with  a lawsuit or being arrested at your job for check fraud, money laundering or theft. However, if you ask them to send you paperwork in writing they start trying to make excuses or they may even yell or threaten you...That is not legal US collection practce

Just referencing my post above. The address is legitamate.... but it is an office building. When I pressed the fraudster for the suite number he had none. This is one of the main buildings for Chase Bank in NY. The company is not real- justa a made up name........Just be careful of any payday, credit or money transactions done online. My payday loans were from 2008 and they still call. Although it has been 8 months or so since the last attempt......I guess they are looking for the one trusting person who may have gotten his/her income tax back in hope of a quick payday. BE CAREFUL.. THEY ARE SCAMMERS

If you ever had a payday loan, especially via the internet, your name has been sold to these scammers. They have all your information and try to tell you that they will be prosecuting you for check fraud, money laundering, etc. "Ryan Smith" gave the company's name as Litigation Department of Advance America. Address 42 Broadway Street NY, NY 10004. How many of you know that this address does not exist???!!! They are scammers send them NO MONEY!!!! .

Received a call today from an "Unknown Caller."  Let the call go to voicemail and had a message from a "Peter Watson" with a very thick Indian accent.  Claimed that the had a very important matter on his desk pertaining to me, and if I did not contact him immediately, he would be forced to "let the chips fall where they may."  Did not state where he was calling from or who it was regarding.  I will not be returning this call.

Caller with Do***ebagistan accent claiming to be "Allen Scott".  I told him to google his phone number to read the comments here. Does ANYONE actually fall for this scam? Let's all hope he is arrested and jailed soon.

I been recieving these calls glad to know I am not the only one they are driving me nuts.Always leaves a different name but the same voice.

Persistent they are. I've received calls from the same group of people w/foreign accents claiming to be reps for this and that. The latest call came from a Steve Brown, but his accent is of India decent. It's crazy, but this has been going on for years. They're going to sue me, press federal charges, etc....if I don't pay some payday loan. How about they even managed to tap my personal bank account, but fortunately I have fraud protection and my account manager notified me as soon as they attempted to draft my account via electronic check. For all of  you out there going through the same thing notify your banking institution as to avoid the possibility of an unauthorized debit. If they say they represent a payday loan organization guarantee they have your banking and personal information. I've spoken to them on several occasions and it's hopeless, they keep calling so I just ignore the calls and delete the messages w/o ever listening to them.Good Luck.

They called me today stating they were "the litigation group" for Advansce America, and told me they were going to charge me federally for fraud and money laundering.  I don't have a payday loan and as I work with the courts regularly I knew they were a scam and laughed at the guy ("James Brown" for crying out loud!) until he hung up. Complete scam.
