Guy calls and asks for my Boss- but as someone above mentioned completely butchered his (not difficult ) name. Said his name was "Alex" and was talking very fast to make it seem as if he were "very" important, said he was calling from JP Turner in NY. I made him repeat it because he was speaking very quickly and trying to bully his way past me. I asked what this was regarding and he replied "the stock market. I'm returning his call" (yet didn't know how to pronounce my bosses name correctly) I put him on hold and looked up the number. In the time it would have taken me to speak to my Boss if I was even going to put the call through, this idiot hung up.

I'm starting a new game... when he calls, see how long you can keep him on the phone... see how much he likes having his time wasted.

Caller was SO RUDE. First thing out of his mouth was, "I NEED to speak to the President of your company." So I said, "what do you NEED to speak to him about?" and he hung up. I tried to call him back and it just rings with no VM.

Also I try to send faxes to his phone line....screams in his ear hopefully

Yes these investment companies are pretty vicious most of the time. They actually think we would do business with such an unprofessional jack a**. I have been dealing with these types for 13 years and I have to admit, it doesn't help to get ticked at them or yell at then-they don't care-they're from New York/Jersey areas-what do you expect. Basically if I have the time I completely SCREW with them-have some fun with them. they stop calling eventually, but then there is always another company like them.

This number comes up as J P Turner and Co. They call every day and ask for my boss. You would think after trying to reach him for two weeks and him not being available, they would give up.

Caller ID showed J.P. TURNER & COMPANY from 718-759-9536. Male caller could not pronounced the name of our president so it's always a clear give-a-way that it's a telemarketer! This is a family business with a Junior, Third (III) & Fourth (IV) with the same name so I can have fun trying to get them to tell me which person they want. The callers get frustrated and just hang-up!

These type of phone calls are from boiler room scam artist trying to get you to invest by convincing you to hand over your personal finance information such as a checcking account, saving account, ATM/visa, wire money, credit cards, SS#, driver license etc. DO NOT CALL THEM NOR ENGAGE WITH THEM IN A CONVERSATION...
ABC 2013-04-05 14:08:00 Unknown
Hung up when I told him the owner wasn't in.
STFU 2013-04-05 13:29:58 Unknown
They are harassing and RUDE...They called my secretary a "liar" as I stood right next to her and said I have never heard of them I don't want to talk to them. If you actually worked for them do us all a favor and jump off the nearest bridge. These people are scum of the earth.
C 2013-03-05 13:48:21 Unknown
These people all call for the owner like they are his best friend.
I have been called every name in the book by them.
Do you really think people want to deal with such losers.
There should be a DO NOT call list for business to put there phone numbers
into.

When you play cut throat others notice. One of the employees is trying to bypass listing broker in deal. J.S. can't outsmart everyone. Scumbags always makes mistakes.

"Alex" from JP Turner is an idiot. Doesn't he realize if he were half as rude, he just MIGHT get past reception? he makes so many mistakes as a 'cold caller' i know he's calling before the phone rings! LOL I do enjoy the banter though, he gets worked up real quick hahaha waste my time and i'll waste twice as much as yours!
ABC 2012-08-23 18:16:15 Unknown
Asked for owner by first name only. When I offered to take a message, he said he'd just call back later. Caller ID said "J Michaels &C."
Admin 2012-06-18 16:26:46 Unknown
These guys are extremely rude and get worse when I will not give them the information on the owners they want. I have call numerous times to be placed on their do not call list and that only lasts a week or so when they start calling again.

Look them up on Finra website, it reads like a rap sheet. How these clowns are allowed to harass legitimate businesses is a crime in itself. I'm all for public lynchings when it comes to these types of "professionals".
Ann 2012-04-25 19:58:22 Unknown
Same as all the others. Called the main number of our business and asked for the owner by first name only. When told she was not available, he simply said thanks and hung up.
Sounds like the same scam "investment opportunity" call that others are reporting.

Some rude guy called "Ricardo" called today asked for the company's owner by name, and when I said he was out and who was calling, he said "just tell him Ricardo called, can you do that? I will call back when I'm in NY."
Not the first time he calls.
SB 2012-02-16 18:22:32 Unknown

Bad Company
? 2011-06-18 15:26:41 Unknown
What makes you think this company is a scam? You clearly found the name, address and telephone number. If it was a scam don't you think it would be a bit more complex than that? I've worked with this company... actually made money through them. If you're not interested in investing why not just call the company, tell them you are not interested in investing and have them take your name off their list? The majority of the people they call they get through referrals. Referrals come from satisfied clients. So again.. what makes you think this company is a scam? And why trash a company's reputation without even a reason?
Rational 2011-06-18 15:18:35 Unknown
classy, simple and smart solution stephanie!
insite 2011-06-10 16:16:39 Unknown
Zoots, they are not a scam. JP Turner is a real brokerage firm. Check it out with FINRA, they are legit. Some settlements and complaints for sure, but any firm that size has the same issues.
Also to "Karen", the broker wasn't calling to talk to you. He called the owner at his place of business, with the intention of doing business. Next time, do your job and put the businessmen on the phone together.
John 2011-06-10 13:25:25 Unknown
This guy really gets around. He called today and asked for on of the owners who had been deceased for two years. Asked for him like they were friends. Then without a misstep asked for his son. What a flake. I think everyone should barage his phone with calls and waste his time.
Gregg 2011-06-09 18:39:08 Telemarketer
Scumbag called wanting to talk to owner, while he thought he was on hold I overheard this jack*** say "ain't nothin but steers and qu***s in Texas", obviously the end of his phone solicitation. This is NOT the kind of company anybody should even allow to speak, how these vermin are still allowed to operate is mind boggling. Perhaps he should make his way to Texas and allow me to introduce myself face to face.
