I got a call yesterday from a Dave saying that he was with ACE my payday loan company and that from now on my loan would have to be paid by Credit Card or Depit card and that I could not pay with case from now on I told him that I didnt  understand and that I always paid cash and that I would not pay that way and he had to email me all the information that we talked about .He has called now 3 times and when i answer there is no one there. I called my loan company and told them of this and they where just a surprised as me and said that they never call and ask that kinda thing and I gave them the information. The call is coming from some where in the Bronxs area of New York. So all beware of this scam if you have a loan.

I got a call today from this number, the first call I didn't answer and received a message from a Bella that had a deep accent telling me that I owe an outstanding cash advance, I have been fooled by two other scams in the past that I ended up paying them, because I was not aware of this going on and had some payday loans that I didn't pay but I was in communication with them to work out payment plans. I then called them back and talked to a Dave and he also had an accent and couldn't provide much information, when I told him that I didn't have an outstanding loan with the company he was claiming I had. I told him to provide me the payday loan information he said sure and placed me on hold and disconnected me. Beware total scam.

This is a straight hustle.  They have been calling all week and I finally got around to calling them back today.  I talked to one guy who said that I have an outstanding loan since last Nov and I said really, if you say so fax over the paperwork too me so I can take a look at it.  He said okay, I'm still waiting for it.  So I thought that I would rattle their chain, I called back and talked to another person, this time they didn't tell me the month just the amount of $500 and I said really, I am still waiting on the fax from the previous agent.  I asked him to fax me also and I said you can fax me right now because I am right by the fax machine, he said his boss would have to do it, I said okay I can wait.  Then I asked him what the name of his company was and he said financial department, I said the name of the company, not the department and he told me the company name is Payday Collection, I asked for the complete address and he said it is 72 East Road Brooklyn NY 11403 which is a bogus address.  I asked him his name and it is Watson, and I also advised him that I know this is a complete SCAM and that the address doesn't exist and to get me off your shakedown list, because you aren't getting anything out of me, and he said um um um okay and the next thing I got was a dial tone.  I called back and got put on hold indefinitely, then I called back again and it went to voicemail.  Don't pay these people anything, who knows how they got our info, we more than likely will never find out how, just realize that ....THIS IS A COMPLETE SCAM, HUSTLE, CON, don't be a SUCKER....Especially in these harsh economic times, don't get taken.

I got the same call today... after listening to his bull for awhile I told him that I read about his little scam and he immediately hung up... I also just sent in a report to the internet fraud complaint department and am also filing a report with my local police department.... I hope they loose their lives in a horrible fire...

I received not one but numerous phone calls from this number. I am very frustrated due to the fact they are calling my job and it is very annoying and embarssing because they state they are a law firm. I feel it is so unfair that nothing can be to done to stop these people especially when it involves calling someone's place of employment.

Said they were a collection agency for cash advance..saying I owe $399 from a payday loan I did back in 2009...which I did not..yes I ask for manager too they even mocked me and crap...called 4 times in a row...

I received a call stating that I owed for a payday loan. When I told the guy I have never received a payday loan he stated I owed an application fee for applying for the loan. What a joke....COMPLETE SCAM!!!!!!

These people have been harrassing me constantly from different numbers every week.  I initally spoke with someone and was told that they were calling about a debt and I needed to have my attorney call because they would have the police at my door in 3 days.  I told them if it was a legitamite debt to mail me the information and I would look into it.  He then began screaming at me and told me that he could not mail me anything and wouldnt even tell me the amount.  All he wanted was my credit card information.  This company must count on scaring the "money" out of people but I dont scare that easy and told them not to contact me by phone.  I gave as much of my address as I could get out and told them I did not want to correspond over the phone.  This will work for a couple of weeks but, I would really like a solution to stop these people for good!!!!

These people call me as well, but I think they are hilarious......lol.  I just play it off and act like I'm a different person other than who they're asking for and they tell me to tell Sheila that it's very important for her (me...lol) to call them.....ha ha ha.  I don't even get mad, because I know they're not getting a dime from me.....ha ha ha......too funny;-)

Yeah, I got a call from these friggin Idiots. They must be using a sat phone from Afganistan to place these calls. Depending on the time of day, you can get an answer, a busy signal, number not connected and others.

Daniel Davis is the name that I got from this non-english speaking fool who says he works for the US Government in the "Collections Department" and that if I don't pay "he never would tell me how much" that they would "shut off" my drivers license, "cancel my social security card" and I would be sent to jail for a very long time. He then said that he would then do the same to my wife if she refused to pay the debt that I owe the US. Government. Funny thing is, I actually do work for the Government and made a few calls just to make sure there were no collections on my student loans, which I already knew that is not how it works, but I thought for good measure I would check. So, with no debts to the Government, the next time Daniel called back I informed him I had no debts to the US Government and he then stated that it was his mistake and that the debt was for a payday loan. Which I have never had one. I have however tracked this down to where it originates. I filled out a home loan application with Lending tree, now, I don't know if their servers are hacked or if they are in on it, but I KNOW that is where this came from. The reason I know, is that is the only place I have ever used my work number as a contact number and that is one of the numbers Daniel is calling. He also called on of my references and told him to pay for me so I didn't go to jail.

I received a call tonight from a man (who did not speak clear english) saying I owed for a payday loan back from November of last year.  I told him that I know they are running a scam (this was not the first time they called) that I did not owe a payday loan.  He then threatened to have me arrest and that I would be in trouble with the attorney general.  I also told him to send whoever he wanted to arrest me.   I explained to him that I had already contacted the FBI about this scam and they are looking into it. These people need to get of there butts and get a real job and not try to scam everyone.

It has not gotten to the point where until they are finally stopped, they will continue to call...so I have now decided to make a game out of it. They call, give me the same rig-a-ma-role and then my fun takes place. So my advice to all of you who keep getting badgered by these worthless, no good for nothing, lame excuse for a human being idiots, just make fun of them on the phone and make them look like fools. I was out to eat with some friends when they called last night and we all took turns talking to them on the phone. They ultimately threatended to "send the attorneys generl to my house and put me behind bars"

Hey i also got a call butt they versor  nice, polite and gentle wid me ,they explained me about the pay day loan that i have taken in the month of december first i also thought it is a scam then i enquired about it wid the company and they told me tha they have transfered the file to them so u can contact them and make the payments......So i gave a call to the and and they told me that they can make payments through cards....so with the banks confirmation i gave the payments to them and they also provided me with the paid and full reciept and told me that their is no loan pending and if any scam company gives u a call then tell them that i have a reiept and nobody can scam me......so they are not scam and i did really fell that those who dont want to pay the money to the company / bank they only write negative comments about them first confirm them talk dont act like [removed:lang]....

I have been receiving 7-10 calls per day from these idiots. Same story as all of the rest. I did get sent to a "supervisor" and he gave me the same song and dance as the others did. When I insisted that he send everything to me in writing and if in fact this was legit we would go from there I was told he needed my permission to go ahead and file charges before he would be able to send me written documents!! This is pure harassment and nothing but bulls**t!!! I finally hung up on him and hopefully will not hear from them again.

Yeah my wife got a call from these scumbags several months ago,saying all of the same stuff, they had her all nervous and when she told them she would be contacting our attorney they hung up.I've been waiting ever since for them to call back! Well today was the day, and I was happy to take the call.
Same lines, same lies, I lit into these guy like no tomorrow, my 3 year old had never heard me talk like I was talking or use the words I was using so I had to go into the room and close the door.

The one guy got off the phone and another guy got on talking some bs, trying to get tough, and I told him the same thing to not call my home with this f**king bs, no more, I know they are running a scam, and that I am reporting them. He then in his broken and gibberish swear words (not an American) said he would come f**k my wife when I was not home and f**k me as well! Seriously, is this something a legit employee would say?? Wrong thing to do, I went to another level on him, he eventually got off the phone and put some other foreigner on, his supposed supervisor.

He asked me why did I talk to his rep like that, and I told him f**k him and f**k his rep and if I knew where they were hiding at, I would bash both of their freakin skulls in. I told them everyone knows about their scam they are running, needless to say they haven't called back if they do, I got more to dish out.

They can take there scam elsewhere, people work too hard to be gettin got by these freakin idiots.

So these morons made the mistake of calling me one too many times...I finally had enough of there harassing calls and finally decided to try and have a peaceful conversation with them and obtain as much info as possible. It wasnt long until my anger level was through the roof! I couldnt handle what this jagaloon was telling me and he started to get real lippy with me. I eventually blew up at him and started screaming at him telling him that he needed to be kissing my butt if he wanted to get money from me. After I was done yelling at him, there was silence,  and then I said to my wife who was standing next to me "oh, I think I scared him into hanging up." He responded with "you didnt scare me. But im not speaking until you apologize to me" I said " I dont care if I offended you in a thousand different ways, you are the one bothering me and trying to scam me into thinking I owe you money. Also, we are not in second grade and I will not be apologizing to at all" He then hung up.

They called back a couple days later but it only rang twice and then he hung up.
I dont understand why people have to try and scam people into making a living. Why cant they get off there sorry butts and get a real job. Or go back to there own country, cause the guy I talked to was not from America.

I have been receiving phone calls from these idiots also.  First they started calling me at work.  I told them that I cannot receive calls at work.  He (whatever his name was - could not understand it) kept badgering me.  I said that I was hanging up - I could discuss the issue at work.  I hung up and he continued calling me at work.  I asked for his address.  He said hold on and you can talk to my supervisor.  I said that I didn't need a supervisor - I just want the address.   Well, he couldn't remember the address - go figure!  I heard him asking someone in the background for an address.  He then gave me an address in which I googled and there was no such address.  The same day, they continued to call me a total of 17 times - one call after another.   Today, they have called me so far five times leaving messages that I must call them or legal action will be taken against me.  My drivers liscence will be taken away and I will lose my social security benefits. Really!!!  These people need to STOP - they are calling again as I am posting this. UGH!!!

The same thing happened to me and they called my work number leaving threatening phone calls say that the US government and the state department had my telephone number. I told him I never had a payday loan from Cash Advance America. They really believe a sane person would give them their financial information. Anyway, I worked for a paydayt loand company and if a person applies for a payday loan, the company has your account information and can try and draft the money out at anytime.

The exact same thing has happened to me as did GG.  This man called my husbands cell phone looking for me, which was already a red flag because I never use his number for any business, I use my own.  He said I had applied for a $300 pay day loan through Cash Advance of America in Nov. of 2010, which he explained owned at least 50 smaller cash advance businesses, so it could be any one of their subsidiaries.  And then explained that I still owed them $50 for a processing fee and that his company had been hired to collect that debt.  I told him that I did not owe the money and that I did not take out any pay day loans.  I told him that he could mail me the information and I would investigate further but he said he was not at liberty to send me anything.  So I told him that if he couldn't send me anything, then I wasn't going to pay anyone any money and that he should not call me anymore.  He proceeded to tell me that he was going to continue calling until I paid the fee.  I was getting pretty angry by this time and basically yelled at him that I knew my rights and I would file harassement charges if he called me again and hung up.  Well, he called right back, so my husband answered and gave him a piece of his mind.  We have not heard back from him again, but it has only been a day.  What is really funny though, is that later I called the number back from my phone and "Daniel" answered and identified the company as United Financial.  How does this guy get our numbers??

Got sveral calls from this number within a few minutes.  when i did call back, a man called 'Daniel" (?) told me the exact same thing as Chris above.  I told him I never got nor applied for a loan from whatever cash advance place he said.  he then told me  "F*** You and F*** your happiness!" and that I could suck his c***!"    then someone else got on the phone and i went off on him like there was no tomorrow and told the call had been recorded (wasn't) and that I had already contacted the police, my attorney, and the attorney general and that I had better not see that number on my caller ID again or the attorney general would be contacted again.  i also let him know that i know whatever address they give probably does not exist.
