How did you go about saling your timeshare. I would love to find a way to do this, but you don't know who you can trust.

I've been going back and forth with these scam artists since November 2011. Every time I am told that the check foe 9600.00 will be sent out the following Monday or Tuesday. So far all I have is a list of phone bills and no check. I suggest that anyone who has dealings with these people (I was told they are Global Travel) simply calls their attorney general and reports them, cause you aren't going to get any moindy out of them. I think it's time for a class action suit!

Did you ever get any money from these people. It has been over a year since I was promised $, and have yet to get it. Have been in constant touch. Please respomnd.

we just got the robo call showing the number 521-989-0322 which is an area code that does not exist.
They are still pitching renting your unit for up to $3600. Don't give them your credit card number
N/A 2011-06-06 20:55:51 Unknown
THANKS YOU WAS VERY HELPFUL
k 2011-06-06 20:55:51 Unknown
I had a message left on my machine. They seem to like the $3600 amount because that is what they "rated my time share" at. I called back, got a synthesized voice but no company name. The extension is "busy" but leave "your name and number". I smell a rat.
Noreen 2011-06-06 20:55:51 Unknown
I received the automated call about 'renting your timeshare for $3600 a week'. the Caller ID said 'LIBORG' and the call ID number was 206-445-6546. The recorded message said to call 719-313-5911. I do have a timeshare, but I'm on the do-not-call list, so this is an illegal call to me.
Ted 2011-06-06 20:55:51 Unknown
I got the same call. If it wasn't a scam it would not be so garbled. I too wonder if some of the respondents listed above are in some way affiliated with the company or just would like for telemarketing to be legal.
Maine Man 2011-06-06 20:55:51 Unknown
I hate this world of Timeshare sleaze that is always trying to sneak a credit card number or an upfront fee for doing squat.
Maine Man 2011-06-06 20:55:51 Unknown
Communist? Because you don't want lying, conniving d-bags calling you up to steal from you? You are a Sales Nazi.
Ann 2011-06-06 20:55:51 Unknown
I don't own a timeshare but they called anyway. Make them stop!
Tried filing a form with the FCC but they are worthless!
Sleuth 2011-06-06 20:55:51 Unknown
I would not own a timeshare with a gun to my head.
Cookie 2011-06-06 20:55:51 Unknown
I had a voice mail left today from 603-214-3323 or 866-260-8866; they gave no name or company, nor called us by name, but said they had rented my timeshare for $3600 and please call them at 719-313-5911. I don't think so!!
mtc115 2011-06-06 20:55:51 Unknown
This telephone number left a message about renting my timeshare for $3600 and need to call back to confirm. I did not request anyone to rent my timeshare nor did I provide my telephone number to any entity to do so. My home and cell phone numbers are on do not call lists. So how does this happen I wonder.
Nicole 2011-06-06 20:55:51 Unknown
If you have been called by this # it is 100% a scam!! My husband and I have a timeshare and we were looking to rent it out. A man by the name of Edward called us claiming to give us, the magical $3,600 per week. We have 6 weeks available so that would be a "certified" check for $21,600 delivered Fed Ex. Surprisingly it never came. We have called the company 100 times just to be given the run around by these 3rd world women who claim to be working out of a Colorado office. They told me that every senior agent is busy in a emergency conference meeting. I called back seconds later pretending to be a person that would like to rent out my timeshare. Amazingly enough that same 3rd world lady with the worst accent, all of a sudden spoke perfect english and was now a senior associate with a wealth of information on how to rent out my timeshare! I asked a couple of hard questions and she hung up on me. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!

Received a voice mail from what sounded to be an automated 'weirdo' service. It stated that "We have waited patiently for $3,600; call 719-313-5911 to confirm." It stated it a second time, but the message was very poorly recorded and I could barely understand it. However, in my missed call registry it had a completely different phone number. I had received phone calls in the past from places claiming to be calling for my timeshare - I have never had a timeshare and have enjoyed 'chewing up' some of the folks who called. But now it is coming on my cell phone just after I had my home phone disconnected since it is pretty useless in this day and age.

I got the same message and called. Did not mention anything about an upfront fee. I am a salesman so I dont mind getting calls. The way the economy is I might need a job again. I agree about unwanted calls but this is an unwanted recession. If government keeps on regulating everything, in a few years every company might start going overseas.

I received the call saying that "We have rented your timeshare for $3,600, please call to confirm." I called to make sure that they had not called me in error when someone else who was expecting the call wouldn't recieve it. The individual picked up and I explained to her my concern. She was briefly hesitant and I stated "Please don't tell me this is a trick." She was silent for a moment then went into her "scripted dialog" about "We can rent your timeshare for "up to" $3,600" People this is deceptive practice and I don't care how hard times are it is bold face lying! I reported them verbally and in writing to the State Atty General and I would suggest that you do the same. I found the company listed as Global Services.

I got the same call 4/21/10. Here's an idea...why don't one of you friendly posters who love this company let me know the name and contact info. Based on your favorable dealings, you should have easy access to the name, address and email. Thanks.
HENRY 2011-06-06 20:55:51 Unknown
I received the typical call about my timeshare would be rented for $3700 if I would confirm by calling 719 313 5911. Funny thing - I do not own a timeshare. I did once but sold it about two years ago.
pam 2011-06-06 20:55:51 Unknown
I just received a call from this company. Very funny that everyone at the office "in Colorado" has a far eastern accent - can we spell India/Pakistan?
LEX 2011-06-06 20:55:51 Unknown
This company is repeatedly violating the DO NOT CALL law. Please send in their number to the FTC as I did. This telemarketer will be prosecuted. Ignore the company hired trolls suggesting these calls are somehow legit. Each call to a do not call regitered phone number is a violations of federal regulations.
wise 2011-06-06 20:55:51 Unknown
I wonder if the people praising the company, who is knowingly breaking the law, work for the company. As for feeling sorry for telemarkerters........NOT, NEVER. Telemarketing is a business model which relies on annoying people for a living. If I want something I will pickup MY phone and order it.

I HOPE ALL THE COMPLAINTS ARE LEGITIMATE AS WELL. I NEVER GOT A CALL BUT WAS SEARCHING THE INTERNET AND NOTICED THIS SITE. I AM A TELEMARKETER AND JOBS ARE GETTING SCARCE. PLEASE REMEMBER, WE ARE SUFFEREING AN ECONOMIC COLLAPSE AND OUR GOVERNMENT IS GOING BROKE. NOT ONLY AM I HAVING TROUBLE FINDING A JOB HERE IN THE US BECAUSE MOST COMPANIES ARE GOING OVERSEAS, OUR COUNTRY IS ALSO GOING BROKE TRYING TO IMPOSE SO MANY LAWS. I THINK THAT THE WALL STREET BANKS AND THE PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES ARE TRYING TO GET OUR FOCUS AWAY FROM THE REAL PEOPLE THAT ARE BREAKING THE LAW. THANKS, I AM A CONCERNED CITIZEN....
S 2011-06-06 20:55:51 Unknown
I'd like to ad that I hope the people posting that they are a great company are legit and not the company doing damage control... that would be sad.
S 2011-06-06 20:55:51 Unknown
Caller ID said unknown. They left a message saying they've rented my timeshare week for $3600, call to confirm and leave this number. No company name given. Maybe they are a legit group and do good work if you want them to help you with your timeshare, but they definitely cold called me which is wrong and illegal in my case b/c I have an unlisted number and I'm on the do not call list (only surveyors, charities, and companies you do business with are supposed to call you if you're on do not call). Not sure how they got our home number... We do have timeshares and it's possible they got my home number from the timeshare resorts, but a) I'm not sure that it's my home number that the resorts would have on file, and b) If they did I don't approve of the resorts giving my info out on some list. I'm reporting them to do not call and asking the timeshare companies about it. If I wasn't on the do not call list there wouldn't be anything illegal or wrong about this call but we are and companies should obey the rules.
anonymous 2011-06-06 20:55:51 Unknown
Call me all the time. They are annoying and breaking the law. Report them.
John Conway 2011-06-06 20:55:51 Unknown
I got the same call. They were very helpful. I had my week up for rent with a broker who had charged me an upfront fee and they helped me rent it out with no upfront fee. The person that helped me was named Stacey.
anonymous 2011-06-06 20:55:51 Unknown
9:46am received a call from 978-570-2369. I did not pick up and they left a message: "We have ? for time share week for $3600 please call 719-313-5911 to confirm." Then a repeat of that message. The caller ID
said "Service Call". AND the number they asked me to call 719-313-5911 (which I did not) was NOT the number on the caller ID!

Our country was built on Sales People. You sound like a communist to me. You sound very unamerican. Every Business in the USA needs to use the phone. Dont answer your phone if you dont want to. Dont send jobs away from the USA. Buy American or buy from a foreigner, but someone is going to make the call. I am a salesperson and remember that everytime a sales person calls. If I dont like then I hang up or I shut the door.
