I received a text with this number in it the other night. Text was as follows:

A search on the phone number sent me here:

Then a second search on the address sent me here.

I got the same thing. I called and reported it to Wells Fargo. They said the will look into it

I've received all of these txts within the last week.  Def scam!

Beware Wells Fargo is using other numbers as well.  (408@sms.mycricket.com(Your WellsFargo 4342-58Issue) call at1-402-316-4346), (my9@sms.mycricket.com:(Wells Fargo 434258***Issue)Call801-984-0221).  Have had no past business with Wells Fargo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  This is getting old very fast!

I called, and entered a bunch of fake numbers, and the recording hangs up on you after a few minutes of trying to get information out of you.  Has anyone tried to report this to the police or anything yet?  These numbers have got to be registered some where, and someone has got to be paying for them through a provider.  Needs to be shut down.

I get these about every day. They're really starting to piss me off cause I know they're spam; I'm not stupid enough to even try and call cause I've heard about these. Where you call and it wants you to put in your card info. Not going to happen I just want it to stop!!!! Anyone know how?!?!?!

I have gotten 3 of these ridiculous texts and so today I thought I would google and see if a new scam has hit the airwaves. You know I just had my bank account raped for $1000.00 via my paypal account, paypal refunded me but I will NEVER use the service again  :(....I am so tired of all the losers out there who make it hard for all of us productive, hard-working members of society to even keep OUR OWN money! Grrrrrrrr.

I got a similar call but from a 072@SMS.mycricket.com..... it contains a number to call (801)984-0221... DO NOT RESPOND THIS IS A SCAM FOR YOUR BANKING INFO, I REPEAT A SCAM FOR BANKING INFO.... It wants you to think your account has been disabled or frozen. I have done some research and this SMS messeage is coming from a computer not a banking hotline. got a txt on my cell. From: cingular@sms.mycricket.com [Notice: Call at 7195307086 (Wells Farg...] on Tue, Jul 12 @ 10:23am. Being as I do not use Wells Fargo I saw no reason to attempts to make contact with the number provided nor respond to the text. Figured it has to be some type of fraud/scam.

I haven't had a bank account with Wells Fargo for years. I agree, do NOT enter any card number!

I used to receive emails years ago, with 'official' bank logos attached, fraud dept at that bank confirmed it was a scam attempt.  I do not even have an account with that particular bank.

I've gotten 2 txt msg's from #16245 stating the same thing:

Got a text message telling me to call the number. Automated machine wanted my debit card number.

Its got to be a scam this is shiz they're finding so many new ways to try and rape our bank accounts!!!!

I received a txt msg from this number routed through my phone carrier website claiming to be Wells Fargo and that I needed to call right away to activate my account.

Same thing -- got a SMS message from the number claiming to be Wells Fargo.

Got a text message asking me to call regarding my susquehanna bank account.
