this person called me I owe a small amount of money, but am mentally and physically disabled tell them this and they try and collect tell me because I get A.N.D (aid to needy and disabled) which just puts roof over my head and pays for meds and doctor visit) and still have to make deals with landlord on a monthly basis to get deal to stay here, the collector tells me " well sir you can go to homeless shelter and pay off the debt, or sell everything you own, or sell your vehicle (my vehicle is totaled),  so don;t give me excuses"

I a sick person, I have mental problems sometimes cannot remember where or who I am, if not for friends would be dead by now,

anyway, was checking credit score online freecreditreport.com and they deny me to see credit report cause their is a conflict with my identity. it is in question, I call the 1-800 number listed, they ask me 5 questions about past all they say not match my social security number, I tell them my social security number they say this not what they have on file, I say what you have they say not number you give us for your birth date and year and name, I say what numbers off they say middle two not 68 they 23.

so this collector because he not fill out paperwork right on his work now I cannot get new bank account, loan, credit card, renters agreement, ect unless I send in proof of all 5 states I live in, address and mail from each, landloard statement from each, my birth certificate my social security card, my driver licence copy, and last 15 years of jobs stubs I have worked.

I am disabled and over a debt of $70.00 he ruined my identity and defamed my character and ruined my ability to progress in life. I have been in and out of hospital more times then I can count this past two years, and in so much pain ending my life is a daily thought and now this

Someone from this number called . left a message said they were from Fremont County court. I do not live anywhere near there
Obviously a scam they were looking for someone who does not live here.

The guy wanted to speak to my husband on a "business matter" and refused provide me with any information regarding the business unless I verified his birthdate.  He then went on to insinuate that he has sent us several letters regarding debt collection -- which is untrue since a) we haven't received any letters and b) we are completely debt free and have been for years. He was VERY insistent that if I cared about my husband's credit rating I would verify his personal information right away.  What a scam!  I wonder what this guy tells his mother he does for a living.

These people call and leave a msg for someone that does not live here, and my number is actaully my business line. I don't know who they are.

Just received a message from the above number, trying to collect debt and personal details.

This is a legitimate business trying to collect debt for some prominent medical providers.. You don't have to give your social security number. Date of birth will do. The law will not allow a debt collector to tell just anyone the business of another.  It is easy to stop the calls. Just identify yourself or tell the person not to call again. These collectors are the ones taking abuse, not you. If you do owe a debt you are probably one of the ones not willing to pay. If you don't respond you risk being sued

Abusive, unprofessional and have the stupidest tactics I have ever experienced.  I am not playing this game Miss Diane.  Intimidating me before you even ask me for money, is far too much of a waste of my time.

Whoever trained you to collect this way has no idea how to work with honest people.  You should not assume everyone you call is a debt dogger and try to be polite the first attempt, then if that doesn't work you can use your 'tough guy routine' on the next call.

If you would like to tell me where you are from, not condescend me, I would be more than happy to pay what ever debt we owe on my husband's surgery.

Otherwise, let's drag this out until 'court time' where you will end up collecting 20 cents on the dollar after legal gets involved......

They are a collection company called Credit Service Co., they call me about once a month or so. I have told them to stop calling but they say they can call whenever they want to. I told that I just wont answer the calls.

This company and "Gail" continue to call my business number after asking them to stop.  I thought that was illegal?
