Selling a snowmobile in Edmonton and got this exact reply from rgscott002@gmail.com. My suspicions were arised but I did send him my e-mail. He can't do any damage with just that can he? Anyhow glad I googled paypal scams and ended up here. Obviously this character is up to no good. I sent him an e-mail today telling him I was on to him and not to bother sending payment. Is there any point in alerting the cops?

I also got the same message while trying to sell my car, there are some sick people out there!!!

My posting is forth vehicle LEASE so I knew rights way this was a scheme and googled it. Was suprised to find so many posts.

Just got a text message asking the same questions about a truck and camper I have for sale on Kijiji Edmonton, this is definitely a scam, I checked the phone number he listed which is 719-781-8146 and this scam has been around a long time. Lots of info on this phone number if you google it.

Same phone message asking to reply to eMail address (rgscott002@gmail.com)... Is most likely scam, will not reply... Was in reply to an add for a truck on Kijiji Edmonton...

I also received the same message asking for service history and then got the same replay as "tazzer"  seems like a scam be aware.

Listed a mercedes for sale in Edmonton, AB, recieved a text from rgscott002 asking for the current condition and the service history.

Listed a car for sale in Canada.  Received Text that I had to reply to rgscott002@gmail.com to give service history of vehicle.  Not sure of legitimacy of request.

Listed skid steer for sale in Canada. Received text wanting me to email details of condition. Received email back wanting to buy it but had to use my pay pal account.

Listed a truck for sale in canada. Received a text from this number wanting an email reply about vehicle.
