Call the government agency in your state that regulates or license's collection agencies.
Ask how you file a complaint with them. Send your complaint certified mail, u.s. post office
return receipt requested to the state agency when you mail your complaint.

The do not call registry does not apply to collection agencies.
You have to complain to the state agency that licenses collection agencies in your state.
In order for one to collect in your state they have to be licensed. If they are not licensed in your state they can not collect.

They constantly call my cell number, sometimes early in the morning, looking for a "Michelle," and I'm not her. They always leave a VM that says "if you are not Michelle, please disregard this call"...yeah, how about you stop calling me?

I have a prepaid att android phone (which I am now wondering how many other people here posting also have prepaid phones) that I am getting calls from this # and several others, ON A DAILY BASIS, that when I look up on the internet too, I find people posting the same thing as here .... Now I'm thinking it's a scam to get you to use up minutes......

You can't call back you are told up front who they are.  I'm on do not call list and they still call

They call all the time harassing and nerve wracking. They also come in under UNKNOWN Caller ID. Relentless and ruthless. Disgusting how they 'hunt' and torture.

They have been calling me repeatedly also asking for a person with the first name of January.  Can you believe it?  No such person living here.

They have called my number for years..years..they are looking for someone else, not me..I have asked them not to call me, as I have no job and need my minutes to find one!

Just got a call from this number.  Couldn't believe how rude he was.  Wanted to talk to some one I don't know. He started yelling at me that I was lying.  I hung up on him.

Yeah, these guys are dirtbags.  They dont actually ever sue anybody.  Just tell them to hold on, and then tell them to take down this phone number,  1 800 EAT S***.

They are ruthless debt collectors.  I was told their name is ROA and I am a pont of contact for my son which I am not.  They have even tracked down Grandparents phone numbers.  There should be laws against these agencies.  I plan to file a report.

They say they are LIGHTHOUSE DEBT COllectors but if you hold on until they answer they hang up...PRICKS!!!

These people kept calling me, they said I have unpaid debt for over 200 days, I never open an account at credit one. They told me to call Credit one customer service. They don't have the information. I will follow up on this one. These people needs to be stop.

Thanks for the info Annaleigh. I keep getting calls and I don't know why. I asked what it was regarding and the lady started yelling at me and accusing me of a debt I am not even familiar with. DO NOT ANSWER THEIR CALLS, they are super mean! I will be sending them a Do Not Call letter. Hopefully that will stop the annoying calls.

Its Lighthouse Collections in Colorado.  They hide their name under the phone company name Telesphere Network.  When I asked what company was represented, the guy claimed he didn't know who Telesphere Network was and why Caller ID was showing that name.  Yea, right.

They just called me also.  Caller ID says PRIVATE NAME.  I do no answer calls that do not display their name.  Hope they leave a message, otherwise we won't be calling them back...

Just called 4 x's in a row. I will not answer and they keep trying! Does anyone know what they are all about?
