Same as above John asking what my name is.  I called Pro Mold and talked to one of the owners (Christine?) she says he does not work there and she has had other complaints about him.  Also called Berthoud Police department and gave them his information and filed a complaint.  Seems like a creeper trying to trap girls or maybe even children.  GROSS!

Same thing as everyone else. I'm pretty sure he actually did this to me before a while ago. I told him if he contacts me again I'll call the cops. Hopefully all these reports will be evidence in his trail for creepiness.

Police have had file on this guy for a few years now. They keep trying to bait him but he seems to know it is them and does not respond. He sent a text to my underage daughter today asking to meet. I called the police number I found on another site (Berthoud P.D 970-532-2611) and reported the incident. I suggest everyone do the same. This guy needs to be caught.

Tested me this afternoon. Said I, I responded hi who are you? He said John, what is your name? I didn't reply. Was just going to forget the whole thing till I found out he sent a text to my underage daughter. Now I am calling the cops.

I received this text scam call a few months ago and forgot about it.

Today, I received the standard Hi :-). text that he starts off with.

I filed a complaint on the Do Not Call registry and also filed FCC online complaint form on their site.

I got a text message 4/18/12 from someone and all it said was "Hi :) "  I resPonded that I didnt know the number and who was it, he REPlied " John"  I asked him how he got my # he said that he just " thought of it" I told him I was engaged and he said he was sorry. Later that day I got two calls to my Phone from "blocked' calls- I'm nervous it was him again. Scary stuff.

I received a text from the following number. (720) 621-5411, They say (Hi).. You answer possibly.. They state (John, What's your name?) as if they don't know you but they have your number.. Weird....

Received same type of text; just saying "Hi". After I replied if I should know who it was, they stopped replying. I reported the number to the FCC website: http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm.

got a call from this same person john called me back then hung up what desperate f***!

I just received the same text.  I googled the number before responding and I'm glad I did.  I went to the FCC site to file a complaint.  Any idea which categories to use?  I'm having trouble finding which option will lead to the "spam text" category.

Just got the text saying  "hi" this morning. So weird. I proceeded with hi who is this and got the same response. This guy or machine needs to be reported.

Call the berthoud police 532-2611 if contacted by this guy!

I just received the same message.  Sent complaint to FCC.  What a loser!

This guy needs his a** kicked. Texted me all the same stuff and then wouldn't reply when I told him I would meet him. But Harrased me later with anonymous phone calls at 12:30 at night.

This creep texted my wife, and she showed it to me straight away. It scares you out and makes me mad that there are people like this who are free on the streets. He is harassing people, and obviously according to one of the comments I noticed, it is not limited from minors. He is creepy and needs to be locked up!

I called the FBI and they told me to report him to the FCC. Here's their email:

My entire family and I (whose numbers are very close to each other) received identical texts from him. After reading everyone else's posts on him all over the Internet, I called the Denver FBI who, in turn, referred me to the FCC. I've filed a report to them and I'd recommend anyone else who gets a text from him to do the same:

fccinfo@fcc.gov. Maybe they'll do something about it if enough of us report him.

I have received several text messages from this guy, who says his name is John...wondering if it is the same one as Belle.

I recieved one from a John today...Kinda strange. He wanted to know my name. I ignored him as well.

My husband, both of our sons, and me got messages from him on our cell phones today. Same scenario as everyone else's. I contacted AT&T and they said he is NOT one of their customers. Has anyone figured out what company his service is through? I'd love to contact them and let them know. His first message said HI (TextMaster). Obviously, he is using the Text Master moniker to make people think that it is a test text coming from their wireless provider. We just contacted the local FBI offices and they have referred us to the FCC. Watch out, John, we're coming for you.
