On 9/5/2012 at exactly 1:04 pm I received a call from this number informing me that they were calling because my sister had an accident and he was a witness to it.  He suggested that I settle with an aggreable amount before the person that my sister hit reacts.  Since he is a violent person and belonged to a gang.

I called me sitter immediately and then I realized that it was a scam....I immediately hung up.

Received call on my cell phone from a man stating my son or brother, he wasn't sure because he was not able to talk, stating he was in an accident.  I tried to get information from him but he acted dumb like he didn't understand English very well.  He hung up and called again.  Still wouldn't give me info when I spoke to him in Spanish.  He finally hung up.  Then my husband gets the same call on his phone which caused me to panic thinking it was legit.  But my husband egged him on by giving him false information which he tried to use as justification even put his cousin on to speak to him in English.  They were trying to get money for an accident claim.  Would love to see these jerks put down!!!

Call from this number, 2 people with heavy Spanish accents claiming my brother crashed into them and ran; they said they caught him and have kidnapped in a 3rd story apt. First person demanded $2500 for damages, second guy demanded $2500 for his daughter who was critically injured in the crash and in the hospital.... they did not want insurance or the police involved. Said if I didn't meet them at the bank they would stab my brother in the heart. Very aggressive. Told them I had to get the money together.  Contacted police.
Brother is at work, and fine.
Please report to the police so they can investigate. The more claims the easier it will be for the Police to find these jerks.

called my minor child saying someone in accident, son gave him dad's number and he called husband stating son in accident and wants money his cousin is crazy..

I just received a call from this number stating that my brother had been in an accident and would I be willing to help. I said "yes" (even though I do not have a brother) and then the story changed. He asked if I would be willing to help for $2500.00. Again I answered yes. When I asked where they where so I could take them the money, he hung up. I guess I sounded too Willing.

Somebody from that number call my mother on 9/20 saying that my brother was killed on a car accident when we ask for my brother name he just hang uo

SCAM ALERT - This just happened in our office and I was able to record most of it. My co-worker received a telephone call saying her father was in an accident, and that they wanted money for the damages. If they didn't get $2,500.00, they were going to kill her father. In the background you could hear moaning and one telling the other get the .45 prepared this girl isn't coming. This went on for about 9 minutes. After the call and "agreement to meet the guy at a bank" we googled the number, it has happened to other people. We reported it to the police who are coming to our office to listen to the recording. Be on the lookout if you get type of call. If you don't know about a scam like this you are likely to fall for it, or at the very least be a nervous wreck.

I just got the same call. but they had called on my sons phone. They said there was a car accident that they need to talk to my husband. I dont have one. They were speaking English and spanish. They started to ask question. So I answered with a question. I asked for the person name that was in the accident and they told me they didnt know well they just gave you the number to my phone so you must know. They hung up the phone when I called back the number went straight to voice mail. That would be scary for people. But if you keep your head level it will back fire on them and they will get caught. One day they will call an officer house and we will see it on the news.

This number has been calling my mother for the last two days. They speak English and Spanish and they've been telling my mother they're going to kill my sister. Started with the same story about a car accident and that she tried to run but they caught her and she would be held captive until the car was paid for. Once we started asking too many questions they became angry and hung the phone up. The police were called but we were told nothing could be done unless they leave threatening messages.

Me too, he said there was a car accident and started asking for personal info. I said I wasn't going to tell him so he said he would kill me or my family members. I hung up, then did a reverse look up on the phone number which said it was a Verizon cell from clear water.

I got a call from them with the same story of kidnapping my brother. Super scary. Sucks being victimized.

I'd report it to the police and your phone company. It looks like this guy is calling random people. Even if this was just a trick, it's very nasty and deserves punishment.

I received a supicious phone call with this number. The person who called said his name as Mickell Colon he suggested me to go to a place where I supposed  I  was going to find one brother of mine who was in treble and he needs some help.Also he mentioned that the supposed brother was receiving treatment to be kill.

I got the same story yesterday, 8/19/12.  I have a brother who lives in the 727 area code, so it was plausible enough to panic me.  Long story short, the police pulled me over for using a cell phone while driving and the guy hung up.

i got a call from this number saying someone i know got in a car accident but everything was alright. i asked what's the name of that person and he said he was my brother, i don't have brothers. Now i feel sorry i didn;t  troll his a**
