Received text about a Credit Union Mastercard "issues". Obviously a scam since I don't have a credit union card. They are looking for your personal information to steal your identity. Do NOT call them.

Call the phone number on the back of your credit card, not the phone number from the text. I'm guessing it's a scam because a big bank like JP Morgan Chase would have toll-free numbers for customers to call for security issues. Another tip is the first 6 digits of the CC # were texted, and these are probably category numbers common to a huge number of cards so the text sender probably has no info on your particular credit card.

This number claims to be from Chase in regard to a credit card. I do not have an account with Chase so I called the number. They're asking you for your personal information. Please be aware that it is a scam.
