They had also gave me the good luck speech again and that if I didnt give them $1160. today that they had a warrant out for my arrest and they will see me in court on Monday. He told me that it doesnt matter what lawyer I get that there is no lawyer in the world that can help me. I finaly told him thanks but I have a lawyer already and I no longer need to speak with him. They are still calling. Lets see what happens next. I have a feeling they will either get caught soon or change the phone number again.

I cant believe what im reading. I went through this back in July. It was between July 20th and the 22nd. I recieved calls from Krogger and Associates. I had spoken with the same person over and over. He used several different names. Jacob Brown, Peter Watson and Ryan Sylvester. He was so nasty telling me good luck, he will see me in court, he told me he was doing me any favors, things like that. He did get so nasty where I was writing it down and I was telling him that I dont owe any money and he needs to get his facts straight. I finaly called him back to see if it was resolved and he assured me it was. Now I got a phone call today! months later, same guy, new names and new phone #. He now went by David Wiliams and Richard. phone # is 6617696835. They are threating to have me arrested and take my children away! I have police officers and an attorney in my family as well as family in other offical locations. I immediatly contacted all of them. I cant take this. I have the new address for them in Taft-Bakersfield Califonia. I will take this as far as I can. These people have to get caught eventually!!!

They call me from 209-736-7655 saying the same thing what should I do

I did on e of those payday loans on the internet which I paid in full but it was too lat 100 places new my social place of work bank account and I was getting approved for this and that which I denied then a month or two later KrogeR Allegal calls saying I owe 480 dollars and if I don't settle out of court I'll have to pay 8,000 in legal fees I say who is the company what's there number and Kroger says we are not a credit agengy its too late you only go through Us. I say what's your number and he says check your caller I'd they call me everyday at work and home. My credit is good I owe nobody money I'm so scared I'm closing my bank account

Ok so Jacob Morgan is my guys name and his sup's name is Chris Brown.....Oh and btw its sunny in Irvine, Ca. complete bs....Forecast calls for rain in SoCal....I'm going to report them to the Irvine PD seeing that supposedly there based out of there when in fact there calling me from (209) 736-7665....And I can not seem to locate a Danny Rogers in the Ca. Atty Bar website....How long has this been going on for you guys?

I got a call from these rip off Fu6ks as well.  They are scam artists.  Knowone can speak a lick of English and once I found this site I knew it was a scam.  I called them a bunch of sand *******. I fought for this country watched brothers die and there are scammers like this, F*ck them. Call and scream and yell I enjoyed it they need to hear it. good luck

The same company is calling me also. Started calling me on 9-22-11 and said that I owed a payday loan and they threated to have me arrested on 3 federal counts of internet wire fraud. They had my social and my bank name. They were India or Hindu because the accent is very heavy the nuber they called from is 661-731-3249 his name was Kevin Peterson and said i owed $620 and if I go to court I will owe 18,000. Threatend to have me served with legal papers within 2 hours of the phone call if I did not go to Western Union and send them the $620.00. These men and women are terrorist and needs to be found and stopped. They threatned me. I'm calling my local DA to get infor on how to proceed legally.

They gave me a case# as well. Jacob Brown!!!! he is a scammer.

i got a call from a Jacob Brown claiming i owe a pay day loan company. Its BS!!!! the number was 747-333-6281

My issue is the same as everyone else.  I get calls from a heavy accented woman though.  At first it was a guy but now a woman.  I can tell that she's reading a script and she pauses in places you normally wouldnt .  She said that of I didn't call back within 2 hours then no one could help me and I would just have to watch everything unravel.  I have yet to call back and so far so good except the crazy calls
 I listens to the messages they've left me when I need a good laugh!

Just recvd a call from someone asking for $500 or he will call his lawyer and sue me.  I asked for what account number he was calling about and what company he didnt have the information.  He said that he had my bank information and he could take the money out whenever he wanted.  He also said that he knew my work information.  Am not sure what to do in this case, anyone has any advise?

7473336281 called my job stating I owe them money then called my house phone threatening me saying im going to jail for not paying back a loan. When I've never took out or applied for any loans. So they keep calling my home phone leaving messages so I went to the police station filed a police report. And they are being investigated. Now Ive gotta check my credit because they have my ss #. And I dont know how. But obviously its a scam because the more and more I research the # the more complaints I see from people that had the same problem.

They did the same to me...called me at work and at home.  I flipped on them then asked for details of the company they represent.  When I mentioned that I just Googled them and started reading the reports he hung up.  I called back and the person answered hello.  I asked what kind of business answers hell.     I too  them know i will be reporting them to the FBI they hung up.  I kept on calling and I got straight to voicemail.

I keep getting calls from someone with a very strong accent.  He is rude and when I asked too may questions he yelled at me and said, "Don't you speak English?"  He insists that I have a pay day loan and his clients want their money and that I will be arrested and taken to jail if I don't pay up.  He also gave me my supposed case number and told me if anyone that calls and does not have this case number....I don't pay them.  He said that if I pay by the end of the month, he would drop the amount down to $550 from its original $800.  I requested to speak to someone else (hoping for someone that I can understand) and I always get someone with this type of accent.  What do I do.  Who do I report this to?

I too am getting a phone call from this Ryam Sylvester saying that I have to pay from some pay day loan that I don't remember getting.  Who do I contact?  What do I do?

Just got a call from this number with what sounds like the same threatening statements.  It was a female who could barely speak English.  I called back and a guy answered, asked for their physical address so I could send the FBI.  He wouldn't give it. Kept asking "who is this?"  Where do these people come from!!???  I don't think the FBI or any other agency will do anything about them.  Bigger fish to fry.

Ok there is a kroger law group in california but not a kroger legal associates so well just an update on all of this

So as an update - called them back and finally got them on the phone.  Said that if they were a scam why didnt they just take my money since they have all banking information?  Was transferred to "supervisor" - got hung up on.  I called back, was told I'd get all my information when the sheriff's dept, their "investigators" and DCFS came to my house at 11:00 am (that'd be later today by now) to serve  me, arrest me and take my kids.  I asked what sheriff dept.  He said your state sheriff.  I said no such thing, what's the courthouse address?  He started screaming "that's not my job...you'll see tomorrow...have good lawyer" blah blah.  Then like one of the previous scammers they said that i'd better be careful because they'd send someone out and have me raped.  WHAT?  I told him I was calling the police.  He laughed and started yelling at me to go ahead and call them "right now!".  

So I did.  

Anyways they sent an officer out to talk to me (I told them that wasn't necessary but with the threat of violence they had to and the dispatcher was very friendly about it).  He came out, took my info, took down the phone numbers and stuff that I had on this one, but the gist of it is this:  Even if they were a legit debt collector (sometimes they hide addresses to keep from getting killed) what they were doing was illegal and I should talk to an attorney.  No one was going to come and serve me without having sent paperwork ahead of time... A LOT of paperwork.  No one could have me arrested like that - the most they could do is sue in a civil court and, again, paperwork.  His best advice was to not talk to them at all, possibly change my number.  Anyways he said it qualified as Aggravated Harrassment and they had a case number now for me, so when these goons call I can now tell them that the "sheriff" they're claiming to use now has a file on THEM.

Received several of these in the last couple of days as well.  One from "Peter".  Goes pretty much the same as everyone else's.  Told me I was involved in fraud, etc.  I sat and listened the whole time the proceeded to inform them that what he told me was not true, that what he was doing was a scam, and hung up on him.  I have blocked the number on my cell; haven't received another call at work.  

Someone who is truly going to arrest you for fraud, etc., is not going to call you and give you advance warning.  You're going to get a certified letter in the mail first, if it's someone who wants to give you a chance to "make it right".  If it's the Feds, they're not going to call, they're just going to come arrest you.  Period.

I did have one payday loan, and I called them and asked about the loan I had had with them.  It was clean and clear with them.  They said my history looked fine, I was in good standing, all my payments had gone through, and I didn't owe them anything.  She asked why I was asking, and I told her, and she told me that it was definitely a scam, and not to even verify information.  She said they were aware of it, but as they had no way of finding out who was running the scam, there wasn't a whole lot they could do.  They had notified authorities someone was perpetrating a scam.

Had a bit of a break from these guys for a while and now they're back at it.  Claiming they're not a scam since they have my banking information and they could've just taken the money and not called me first.  Claimed american names with Indian accents and as they got more agitated they got worse and worse.  Could hear the other calls in the background.  Ugh.  This time they called my employer.  Called her and warned her not to give out any of my info.  

so I told them I knew about the scam and now whenever I call the number back I get a machine or that the voicemail is full.  LOL  What a bunch of retards.

They just called me 12 times in a row ...it is a def scam ...if u owe anyone $ they will just come out sue u , not call u 12 times in a row ....that's harassment

Hey liz ...what came of this , because now I'm gettin' these calls as well and its gettin' very annoyin' especially with the fact that he says "cops" will come after me and the phone calls increase each day !!! I'm thinkin' of changin' my number !!!

Had 4 missed calls from phone number 0000. There was a voicemail and they guy said his name was Peter Colmes. Spoke with a heavy accent. And to call him back on his hotline 747-333-6281. When he repeated the number he said 747-333-46281. No mention of a company. And since when do companies leave such detail messages involving sensitive issues without knowing where they are leaving the messages.

I received a call from someone at this number today on my job.  He said his name was Jacob Brown and he was sending Marshalls to serve me with a summons and take me to jail.  I was very upset until I called a friend and he started investigating for me.  These people should be hung by their you know what for the problems they are causing.  I'm getting a copy of my credit report and going to my bank to change my account. I do have a few friends in law enforcment, I'm going to talk to.  Thanks to all who posted comments.  This was very helpful.  The phone number is the same because I asked for a number to call him back and the accent sounds like the same. Yea they go from kroger legal associates to some lawfirm anx everytime i call its the same chick but with a different business name and i keep calling them and hanging up and i blocked my number so its probabl. Pissing them off lmfao hahahaha take that HABEEB

He wasn't a lawyer when I called. He was Caucasian and he was with the FBI. So I merged the call and asked him to give the real FBI his ID number and he hung up. They are BOGUS FRAUDS! I told the idiots that I was Stacy Dash and they still pretended to have a file for me. Block the number!

correction the ph number im getting with a well spoken english man is from 855 301 8100 they do answer they are called ?? debt collector ..com should i be worried

now someone just called from 800-301 8100 ..it is a scam but wow sounds so real case # and all. last number was the same you posted that was mr matthews !
