I got this call a today from california at.2:24 PM New York time (11:24 AM California time).  The woman spoke to me very fast a do not under stand her.  I said "How are you doing", she hang up the telephone.  I like these people stop calling me and other people.  A lot of these calls come from California.

i have been recieving calls and everytime they hang up on me.

My mom got a call from this number about an hour ago. My mom couldn't understand what the person wanted, only that she'd ID'd herself as being from Banco Popular and Banco Santander fraud protection.

Anyway, I took the phone from her and asked the person again who she was and what she wanted. She mumbled something about bank services and knew immediately it was fraud. I quickly hung up and my mom called Popular and told them about it.

I received a call from a woman with caribbean accent wanting to confirm some information from my wife.  She said she was speaking from the local telephone company and needed to confirm my wife information.  I felt that by the tone of her voice, and since the Telephone Co. does not need to confirm any information, I told her I do not trust her and hung up.  Thank God I did for what I am reading in this website.  All the conversation was done in Spanish.

Becarfull this women call me april 2, 2009 and ask about my bussiness and ask me she is working las paginas amarillas an try to take information about me.  When I ask why she call me using 757? (california area code) she hang me the telephone.  I put this number in google and this number send me to this page that have some warning.  BECARFULL WITH THIS NUMBER SHE TRY TO ROBBERY YOUR PERSONALITY AND ALSO MONEY.

Recibi esta llamada 6 de abril 09 preguntando por informacion personal para presuntamente enviar uno papeles de seguridad la persona se hizo pasar por el nombre de Carlos Martinez. al negarme dar los datos el individuo termino la llamada.

Got 2 calls from this # in April 2009. Got my phone setup that if any # is not on my list it will give a different ring tone. I let pass all calls not on my list to the voice mail. If they want to talk to me they can leave a msg with their information and call back #.

Hoy recibi una llamada de ese numero. la persona se identifico como la Licenciada Perez del Dept de Proteccion Bancaria. Dijo que trabajaba con Banco Popular y Banco Santander. Le dije que permaneciera en linea en lo que buscaba un lapiz pues tenia que tomarle una informacion a ella para verificar lo que me decia, cuando regrese al telefono ya habia terminado la llamada. Inmediatamente busque en Internet y encontre ese site. Por favor, si usted recibe una llamada de este numero, llame al Dpto de Control de Riesgo de su banco e informe inmediatamente de esta llamada para que tomen medidas de proteccion.

Se hacen llamar Guia 411 indicando que necesitan actualizar bases de datos.

My mother-in-law received over 10 calls between 5/13/09 and 5/14/09.  She is 83 and live alone.  She complaint that these people are very persistants and wanted information from her bank account.

I received a call from these losers. The guy told me in Spanish that he was a lawyer, but trust me his lack of respect just killed it. After asking me for several minutes for my address I asked him to give me the address they had on file, but he never did. After laughing at him for stupid demands about my personal information he became frustrated and almost started crying and hung up on me. All of you out there, be very careful about these people. Don't use your credit card or debit card at ATMs that look suspicious.

Didn't answer the call - didn't recognize the number...looked up the number in a search engine and found this site...looks like a bad #...glad I didn't answer!  Have caller ID, but only on cell phone...so no name came up.

Someone called me from this number today in Spanish telling me he was from my bank and to advise me that all my bills paid via bank transfer where paid for and I did not owe anything.  I told him I did not understand and he repeated himself.  I went on to tell him that I had no clue what he was talking about and that I was not a client of his and he hanged up.  Complete FRAUD.  Do not pick up the phone if this scum bag calls. Call came in at about noon (US Eastern Standard Time) on Feb. 9, 2010.

This is a fraud. They stole over $200 from my mother telling her that the were an insurance company, they insure the equipment in her company. They speak in fluent spanish. They have called for over a year. Today my mother tried to pass the phone to me and they hung up.

SCAM!!!
1. Pushy mumbling individual talking non-stop from a public phone (he told me he was in the office but you could tell it was a public area), barely audible
2. Calling me from "Merchant Services" and wanted to verify my insurance per my office out of Miami; repeatedly asked me who I was and I would not tell him, but he had my office address and name (wrong last name), may have gotten it from public records or any advertising
3. Because he talked non-stop and mumbling (surely on purpose) I told him I did NOT understand what he was saying because of background noise, asked for company address and number
4. After a few tries, he said "Merchant Services PO Box 106 Miami" with a number 877-613-7981 (when you call you get a cheap recording and pressing for English or Spanish will get you a "Goodby" and a hangup)
5. He stated he was sending documents for the insurance a certain area; when I asked him which address, he gave me the office address (not applicable)
6. THIS HAS TO BE A SCAM--THEY GET AS MUCH INFO FROM YOU BASED ON PUBLIC RECORDS AND WHO KNOWS WHAT ELSE THEY WILL DO.  BEWARE!!! FAST TALKING, CONFUSING CALLER WILL NOT LET YOUR BRAIN ENGAGE: STOP, GET HIS NAME AND NUMBER AND TELL HIM YOU WILL CALL BACK!
