Had the same experience as all of the folks here - got an offer for 2 RT free airline tix on non-existent USA Airlines and 2 free hotel nights, stupidly called 754-206-3258, got a woman who said the company was called Sobe Travel Services and was offering free trips as a promotion, and the only catch was that I had to come in for a one hour presentation. I even more stupidly answered some questions; my age, my phone#, whether my income was over a certain level, whether I had traveled in the last two years. When I told her I lived alone with my minor daughter she said I was not qualified for the offer - only two adults living together were - and hung up on her. I hope I don't suffer worse consequences for being foolish enough to respond to an offer that was obviously too good to be true. Made a mail fraud complaint on http://ehome.uspis.gov/fcsexternal/default.aspx

We received a mailer stating that Cheap Tickets had been trying to contact us & this was a Final Notice for USA Airlines voucher for $1398.00 for 2 round trip tickets. There was no company or agency on the mailer, only the number 754-206-3258. I called to ask that we not be contacted & why they felt the need to send something as a Final Notice since we haven't been looking for travel items.... the woman said her name was "Diann" and that she was with SoBe Travel Agency in CA, which doesn't exist - at least as far as Google is concerned. Anyway, I asked that they discontinue sending anything in the mail & she told me I was welcome to throw the data away if I didn't want it. I said - "stop killing trees for no reason - we don't want your stupid S***!". Probably could have worded that differently but I detest scammers... and I can't stand wasting resources, especially for criminal reasons! Watch out folks - - there's other data posted about this scammer also. Just reverse lookup the number for yourself.

Just received this....over 20 years ago I purchase 1 of those cheap stay packages with a resort, catch is you have to listen to their time share type picture for about an hour.....another instance i purchased a 99 dollar package that i never used, these telemarkers keep calling about used pkg.  I tell them I am not interested in "REACTIVATING the used pkg" which ultimately you pay more money....Also asked them to remove me from the list and will never pay for anything that was already pay for, however the call over and over again (at least 1 every quarter) .  I feel that may be related....Either way too many scams these days just not work the headache.

Sending fake checks through the mail is a crime so contact the US Postal Service Inspectors:  https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/forms/MailFraudComplaint.aspx
https://www.usps.com/

Or you can take it to your local postmaster.

Just talked to these guys. This really sounds like a scam. They asked personal questions. They do not have a website and have been in business for 7 years. They are located in Fort Lauderdale. They say the name of the business is   " SOBE TRAVEL SERVICES ".

I recently bought tickets on CheapTicket.com. Shortly after that I got the same letter with amount mentioned ($1398), etc.  just wondering if purchases on cheap tickets.com preceded getting this "free ticket" letter.  ... Trying to connect the dots.  Thanks

I called the number asked how they got my mailing info. I was told they could not divulge that information. When I said that I was afriad that this was a scam, the woman on the phone replied "WE are a REAL company!"  She seemed very upset by my using the word scam. I'm glad to find this website via Google and will throw away my voucher for $1398.00 to fly anywhere in the continental US!
