When I answered,  a man said nothing.  He was breathing heavy. Pervert!

I just got this call but it cames from this # 204-644-2118, really really thick indian accent. I told him to eff off and hung up

Individual called in a thick Indian accent saying "my computer running a windows operating system... yadda, yadda, yadda." i stopped paying attention after that because standard social enginnering attacks start with general knowledge that can fit any individual so as to "hook" "suckers", and i use the term loosely, into giving up personal information. after some counter questioning and notifications that the call was recorded, the individual said, and I quote, "shutup motherf***er" and promptly hungup. Whoever is on the other end of the line is looking to catch anyone and steal information. if they call, get as much info from them as possible then report them.  

Also make sure to spread this word to any websites or social media that you have, the more people know this information, the fast he will be stopped. Knowledge is power, guard it well.

I received the same call. Could not understand anything he said. I even told him I didn't have a computer. I was called 3 times within 3 hours.

I'm lucky, I've never answered, but they keep calling. 3-4 times a week for a month or so now.

Virginia call

The caller told me my computer running Microsoft Windows may have I virus and spy ware on it.

told him I use Linux and I was a hacker ha ha ha . the joke is on him .

Claiming to be from Microsoft....wanted me to connect to www.ammyy.com. There is a lot of other people who have had this happen, as I read the Microsoft fraud prevention board.

I just got same call...said he was calling from microsoft in regaurds to my mother`s pc problem...I did 411.com reverse number look-up to find he was in virginia...He as well had middle east accent...What a bunch of "JERKS"

Same story as those above but I was called childish for not believing that they were the company PC Speedy and totally legit.  They even had the nerve to call me back the next day to see if I was ready to stop being stupid and let them help me fix my computer.

A man called from this phone number yesterday.  He had an Indian accent and told me he was going to help fix errors on my laptop.  I asked him what laptop.  He said my Windows or Mac laptop.  I said I don't understand how he could associate a phone number to a particular laptop.  (BECAUSE YOU CANT) and he yelled "you will never understand!" and hung up.  I really wanted to play with him some because I knew it was a scam, I just didn't know what type.  I would really love to have said something like I am an analyst with the FBI and I would like to know more about the errors he is reading from my computer (BECAUSE HE ISNT) and see if that freaks him out.  Maybe next time.  My boss received a call like this one last month.  As for Edna ... please know that they do not have any clue about your computer and if it is infected.  Consider this ... how can he know your computer is infected and have your phone number handy to call exactly you about your exact computer.  They cannot.  This is a scam!  I hope everyone knows not to give out any information!  I called my parents right after and explained the situation to them.
If it seems unlikely/impossible, really it is.  Now if an FBI agent shows up at your doorstep ... it would be another illegal wiretap.  And FYI, Edna, if a hacker hacks into your computer, they don't care if it is lawful or not - these people were not hacked into your computer but probably wanted to.

I got a call from a person I did not understand, So she put someone else on the phone I did not understand. They said that I had and infected computer. But I do not understand how they no unless they are hacking in to my computer. Is that against the law.

WARNING!! I just got a phone call from 757-115-6388 the man that i did not understand very well told me that my computer is infected & he was going to help me fix it. He told me to hit the windows key on my keyboard and then type in this "EVENTVWR" so i act like i did. I said nothing came up. He said "Oh your computer is in danger" I asked him what windows do i have? I had to ask him 3 times that question. He said XP. I said Wrong. I hung up. These people need to get a life.

Told me my pc was sending out error signs. I screwed around with him for a while and he told me to go to h**l and hung up on me.

so i told them i didn't have a pc and then they hung real quick
