They hung up on me also.  Turns out after reading some of these messages that it was sprint.  I have had Nextel since 1999 and was totally upset when sprint took over on everything.  Everything account wise was screwed up when they took over for quite a while let alone instead of them using my "charge" card for payments they used the "debit" part of it and messed up the bank account not once but TWICE!!!  Now in the past year and longer they are sabotaging the direct connect by not keeping up on taking care of the towers!  We had an emergency in the family just over two weeks ago and the messages were coming two days after any messages were made!  And it keeps on happening.  So today they have informed me that they are FAZING OUT NEXTEL and I'll HAVE TO BE A SPRINT CUSTOMER!   I have literally complained or at least voiced my opinion right along that I NEVER WANTED TO BE A SPRINT  but wish to continue on with Nextel.  I loved having nextel and sprint has been a total screw up since the 1970s and still IS!!  Now they are sabotaging our service because of it!
SHAME ON SPRINT!!!  Doesn't the FCC have anything to straighten out that kind of crap???  OH YA, it is GOVERNMENT and THEY HAVE SCREWED UP EVERYTHING IN OUR LIFETIME,, SO HELP ME GOD!!!
Oh, by the way when I called them today on the 611 contact number I got "disconnected" twice and than they haven't bothered to call me back and say anything at all.

This is Sprint.  I just received a call confirming actions to my account that I had requested.

I keep getting calls from this number and not sure who it is. They hang up without leaving a message.

We got a this number out of an email from a person from "sprint" saying to call them asap because our sprint account as being charged for 8 blackberrys. We called sprint directly and they said it was a scam to get our account info.

I received a missed call with the same hang-up when I tried to call it back... after some digging found out it was Sprint Collections.

Hung up when I answered after a brief pause. Could hear chatter in the background similar to telephone solicitation background noise. It was dinner time as usual(6:30pm). We are on the do not call list for solicitors.
