I wish the Do Not Call List worked. I don't know anyone in Norfolk, Va that would not leave me a message. They called on 2/24/14 at 3:50 pm. Guessing hoping that someone would be home. Hope it is the last time they call here.

I still get multiple calls from "Rachel".  I thought the FTC had already fined them over $1 million......

I don't understand why some of you call them back.  That is a mistake.  It just confirms to them that your number is active.  
Do not call them back.
Also do not press 1 to complain to a live operator.  This also confirms that your number is active.  If you don't recognize the number don't answer the phone.

I just received a call from this (Virginia) number.  No message was left.  The caller ID said "Unavailable."  I am on both the State and National "Do Not Call" lists.  After reading other people's posts here, I blocked all future calls from this number.  Thanks, 800Notes!

I am on the do not call list yet I continue to receive calls from this number almost every day. Don't they get that do not call means DO NOT CALL?

fORGOT TO ADD-  Alot of times, the calls we get are just to CONFIRM the phone number is a working number.

That is the right thing to do.  If you don't recognize the number, don't answer; although on landlines you would need caller ID services. If you can afford it at all, get it.  It is invaluable.  If we don't recognize the numbers called, we don't answer AND if someone you know wants to get in touch with you THEY WILL LEAVE A MESSAGE.

STOP calling my cell phone.  Left message saying this is your last chance.  HA HA.   This has been my last chance for 3 years.    It is not going to do you any good.  SCAMMERS.    I don't have any credit cards.  How many times have I said this to you on numerous occasions.   You continue to call on all kinds of hidden numbers.  STOP IT.

757-475-3254 called my cell phone - I did not answer as I didn't recognize the #.  I also added my cell to the DNC list - and i have received numerous messages from this 'company' on my home phone.  but this time no message.

Actually they never say the company name - just that they are from credit services - so it could be anybody but certainaly not a reputable company.

Just received call....just ignored it as it was unlisted and did search.   I didn't even bother calling back.  You never know.

Received several of these calls from 757-475-3254. They hang up when I answer.  When I call back, there is either a busy signal or a series of beeps.  How irritating.

"Rachel at cardholder services" scam, trying to get you to reveal your card number so they can steal something.

Calls all the time.  My husband has cancer and these calls are very disturbing.  I tried to get them by phone, dead line.  Why can't the government do something about this?  Or, at least the State of VA.
