Received a call that showed up on caller ID as "Virginia Bch VA".  She asked if this was....blah...blah (my name) and if the last four digits of my social security number was _ _ _ _?  I asked who she was and why would I give her my ss#.  She said she had to confirm that I was so and so before she could tell my any information and she was not asking me for my social security number,  that she already had the number and just needed me to confirm the last four numbers.  I said "sure" for argument sake and then she said she had to inform me that she was a debt collector and any information could be used against the collection of the debt...blah - blah.  Said, I have no debt! and then hung up before I said anything more.  Don't even pick up the phone... but if you do and they ask to confirm the last four numbers of your ss# that they do have and will recite to you... just tell them NO.  I am pretty sure that another four digits in the telephone number will appear on the next phone call.

Debt collector...very rude!!

Rude and is trying to collect a 13 yr old debt but cant verify the debt!!!!!!!! Cant understand half of what they say!
