Got a call from 404-551-5493 the investigator said she's calling from Kaufman Hines. When I called back to that number the voicemail said it's Paul Collins number.

Indian Telephone scam

This number keeps calling my cell phone, the lady "sarah miller" who has a foreign accent claims to be an attorney, stating that I owe something, but she will not send me anything in the mail to prove I owe anything, by law, they have to send you written notice of a debt. I told her that if she was a real attorney, she would know the rights, and I am reporting her to the FTC.

Paul Collins' new number is (404) 551-5493. He called my parents claiming I owed a payday loan company 500 dollars (conveniently enough) and that if I didn't resolve the issue immediately I was going to be charged with check fraud. After calling him to resolve the issue he knew nothing about the situation but what he had on his paper which included my Social Security Number that he willing read off a couple times. Not standard business procedure. This guy is a creep and a scammer. Don't give him any information.

THIS IS A SCAM. Scammers pretend to be law enforcement (police, sheriff, Feds, AG's Office, fake cop agencies with made-up names) and using bought/hacked loan application data to extort money for fictitious crimes or your personal ID.

Why aren't Western Union and Moneygram warning about this scam on their websites?

THIS GUY NAME NICK STEVENSON CALLED ME AT MY CELL PHONE AND AT MY JOB SEVERAL TIMES AND HE TRY TO SCARE ME TELLING ME THAT HE GOING TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION AGAINS ME IF I DON'T PAY THIS DEBT. ALSO HE TOLD MY SUPERVISOR THAT HE WILL SEND OFFICERS AT MY JOB TO ARREST ME FOR 300.00? COME ON JERK YOU DON'T KNOW THAT NOONE GO TO JAIL FOR 300 DOLLARS.

I did receive a call from this number at my work phone.  How is these people getting my information.  The caller claiming to be JACK STEWART, the caller has a indian accent. Please help me stop this.

I have to say though, my favorite part is the super thick accent accompanied by a name like "Kevin Morgan". Uh huh, sure buddy. Oh yeah, and "If I do not hear back from you or your attorney of record, the only thing I can do is wish you good luck as this situation unfolds on you."

What's more is that sometime last summer, I was getting these calls about 4 times a day for at least a month. It was a female version, same thing, word for word. And surprise surprise, nothing ever came of it.

I know it's a scam for 2 reasons, 1-they give you no actual information except your name, and 2-I have no debts that require this kind of attention.

Oh yeah, there is another version of this message where they actually tell you the 'business' they are calling from, but that doesn't make it any more legit.

Indian ??? I say Terriost..he has called me a hundred times if not more...reported to police same issue..un paid loan....even calls me at work to cause trouble .....I have since changed my cell and home....he only calls on Thursday..total scam

this number is fake. the guy is indain and says cops r going to come and get me cuz i didnt pay my loan. so not true. they scared the hell out of me. they say they know ur info but they never told it to me, so i could give it to them.
