They've been calling my phone repeatedly. So far as I know they haven't called my job but I should hope the HR department would know not to realse personal info...I hope ne way...is there a way to stop them? Should it be reported to authorities?

Got some garbled message on my cell. He said (from what I could understand) that I am in trouble and that I needed to call him right back or my attorney of record. Then he wished me good luck if I did not call him back. Apparently I have some luck coming because I am sure not calling these scammers back.

Yea he some one just called and threaten send me to jail for fraud that I never committed and after my mom got on the phone and cursed him out he changed his number

I mess with their heads. I call them up and tell them it's past the time the cops to be at my door to arrest me. like this,morning they hung up on me.

No nobody showed up, but they called me again this morning at work at the same that they were calling me on my cellphone.

Last night I called the FBI and they confirmed that it was a scam. That they purchase information from different sites and use against people to get money.

someone keeps leaving messages threatening a relative that doesn't even live in this state.  called the police but was told it's not a crime.

I am receiving calls from this phone number telling me that they are a law firm and that they are representing a financial institution where I apparently committed fraud (NOT TRUE!).  When I asked them to send me a formal letter on the mail on am letterhead they insisted that I verified my personal information to which I insisted in getting that written notice I had requested and they hanged up. They had called my workplace but I already had told the people in the personel department not to give any information out.

I get these calls every few,months. And it's just bull. They have to prove to you that that it's true. And then you would get a summons. Either by mail or by a court officer.

Nobody will get arrested for a debt, and these callers aren't calling people to verify any debt. The criminals want to extort money out of people. Real debt verification is done by sending a letter of Validation.

So have you heard back from them ? or the police ?

I have been harrassed by this number saying im being charged with 3 accounts of stuff one was check fraud. He tried telling me that i had 5000 dollars deposited into my bank account and i have not payed back. Thing is i have had no money deposited into my bank acount and also i have not signed anything. Its something to do with payday loans or something. the guy had an indian accent and it was from the number 760 385 3923

They have called my job, my home and my cellphone just about 10 minutes ago, telling me that I was going to be arrested for payday loan fraud. "Daniel Clary" was his name with an indian accent. I asked him, when the offense was commited, he couldn't answer me. He just kept telling me that I needed to sit tight and just wait for the local sheriff to come and arrest me in a couple of hours.

WTH?!!!

I just got yet another call from this number and they are threatening to have me arrested but they won't tell me why I am being arrested.  Told me that I had no common sense as a human.  Nice, right?  Is there any way to block these numbers?

Called looking for one of our employees, this was the callback number given for him to return the call to. Sounded like a call center with all the backgroud chatter, and "Robert" had an obvious Indian accent.
