I got a call from this guy! When I answered he said Hi is this (my name)? I said yes. I asked for his name he said Mike. I proceeded to ask if I could help him? He said Can you hold a minute? I waited then said if I could help him? He said Wait a minute til I come...at 1st I did not understand him, then heard wait til I come. I said Sorry, im have fun! Clicked. He returned the phone call. WHat's the deal?? how'd he get my name & number? What is this?? I work in sales this whole time i thought it was my co-workers pranking me!!

Same here.  Asked my name and then said he was Mike.  I said, "Mike who?"  He asked me to hang on a minute.  I could hear him whispering something and shuffling around.  i went in the next room and handed the phone to my husband  who hung up on him when he wouldn't answer him.  

someone is selling a car on craigslist, to call 760-485-9230 and ask Mike. He is posting that he is moving out of state and that is why he is selling really cheap.

Keep getting calls from this number.  First time I answered and he said who's this and I asked him who's this you called me. We went back and forth a couple times. I basically to told it's rude to call someone and ask who's this when the pick up. Then he hung up on me. Had a missed call from this number a couple days later and when I returned the call the call. He asked who was calling,  I gave a false name and he proceeded to ask mebto hold on. I hung up and blocked the number fron calling back!

Just got a call from number... Indio Ca. They hung up right after i answered... Not wasting my time to call it back 10/14/2013

I got a missed call from this number. I called back (after reading all of this) and a tired man answered the phone. I asked, "Is this Mike?" Did not sound like he knew what I was talking about. He sounded like a legit person tied to this number.

I think what is happening is there is a person making the calls under a real phone number. It can show up on your call ID as a number however the real number may be masked.

called 9.11.2013  5:41pm pacific time.  looked up here and see he's a creep.  added his number to the *free* service from Verizon to block phone calls from creeps.

Same thing, received a call from a MIke (760) 485-9230....kept asking who I was then asked me to hold....so I googles the number and found this....hung up....weird!

Same story. The guys said his name was Mike and asked me to hang on a for a second. There was about a minute of silence, and I said "Hello?" again. I asked who he was looking for, he kept asking who I was, and then he asked to hold on till he came. I told him he had the wrong number and hung up.

I rec'd a text from 760-485-1359, the next minute I got a phone call from 760-485-9230, I said "hello" and the guy says "who's this?"  I said, "who's this?" He said "Mike, who's this?"  I said my name and he asked if I could hold on a minute but I told him No, that I was busy and he said "Okay".
The text said (THE CREDIT UNION CENTER ALERT) Your Visa Card has been temporarily - DEACTIVATED- to reactivate, please call Card Services at 760-860-1515.

Just happened to me. Hung up after he asked to hold on for a few minutes.

Guy said his name was Mike.  He also asked if I could hold a  minute.  I hung up and and he called back quite soon.  I just let the phone ring at that point.

760-378-3460 caller id read Indio, Ca.  Guy said his name was Mike.  Asked if I would hold a minute.  I hung up.  Almost immediate call from another unknown number.
