This is a scam,  call the Federal Trade Commission.

They called my cell today and did not leave a message.

Yes, anything to stop them from calling my cell and work!!!

They will be hearing it from me. I am also filing a complaint with the BBB, but where do I do that if I live in Phoenix?

Just filed a complaint with the BBB and the local police department for harrasment.  Getting my lawyer involved.  Anyone want to help me class action the s*** out of these guys?

these people keep calling me and telling me there will be a sherif at my door by morning, on a cash advance loan that i have not recieved or know nothing about. theve been bugging me for a month, still no sheriff,and no documents to show for. i told them today go ahead and call the sheriff and then i will deal with it, i made one last attempt to get a phone # or case # of who is trying to come after me all they say is "you said to call the sheriff so why am i still calling them". i'm calling b***s***. SCAM!!!!

A company called me from this number stating I had an unpaid loan (never had a loan in my life) and that a sherrif was on his way to arrest me.  Dude told me to get prepaid visa cards at walmart to pay off my debt.  Dont court houses usually require money orders and not pre-paid visa?  Seems a lot scammy.  Issue is they stole a number registered to the local police department to make it seem like they were calling me from there!  Crafty yes, but I am no fool.  No one calls asking for money and refusing to give you documentation.

Had the same thing happen to me!  Did anyone ever show up?

This number called me today.  Saying they were in the process of filing criminal charges against me for fraud use of my e-mail.  That they're a law firm.  That if I didn't pay within 1 hour sheriff was going to arrest me too.  I don't know what they were talking about I got nervous because I've never received a call like this.  When I would ask questions on whom they were collecting from he would say several company names that it could be any of them...which I've never heard these names.  I told them I would call them back in order to check this number and I'm glad I did.  See I see this sounds like a scam.

I am receiving calls threatening legal action against me.  I am sure that these people received my number from a payday loan application, but I never went through with the loan.  I am unsure what I am supposed to do at this point.

This gentleman called me and told me I had pending legal charges against me. He rattled off my info including my social, said the sheriff was on his way to arrest me and then hung up on me. We are opposite sides of the country.

Yes; a few death threats from them, also. Someone that can't speak a lick of English...
