NO MSG

Looks like they are striking again.  Kept getting calls from 1-858-634-3060.  Finally when I answered today a gal named Grace started talking.  Talked so fast I could hardly understand her.  She kept saying that I switched my telephone service to which I answer no I did not.  (I have never been scammed by this, but use to be a receptionist, so I am aware of just about all of them).  She then claimed that there will be additional charges to which I responded, no there better not be because I did not change my service.  She came back with, well, didn't you use to be through Verizon and then left for another carrier.  My answer was no, they switched company, no changes in service.  What is your phone number so I can call you back.  She gave me 800-976-6997 ext 1163.  I knew she was a scam and told her so.  She came back with that this call was recorded.  I hung up, call Frontier (company that took Verizon over) and put a freeze on my accounts.  People beware, these people are low life crooks. I never accept anything over the phone and the only changes that are ever made to any of my accounts are the one I initiate myself.

Called today. Stacy Lee 800-976-6997. He called to offer discounts on Verizon.  Just took message and said if we were interested we would call back.

I know mcmichaels personaly and I know her to be a very good and hard worker.

Again, call from 760-526-8134, this time Camille.  Verizon package special. Didn't know much about my account when I ask questions.  Talked in circles when questioned.  She was so sweet and said she would call me back with answers to my questions. I told her I would call back.  800-976-6997.  Ext 1163.  She would not answer, receptionist would because so many people work there but she would get message and call back.  Same scam as before.  BEWARE people.  You will have an extra charge on your phone.  It already happened to me months ago and I didn't even agree on  package.  S C A M !!!!!!

Kesin McMichaels called me with all of my phone information telling me that i needed to renew my services. I asked for her phone number and she made sure to tell me that the call was being recored to protect her and me. She said her number is 800-976-6997 she said she is with the Verizon Renewal Department 1290 is the extension.
The past Friday a Sean Roger called to tell me the same thing with no caller id. He said he can renew my services and set me up with DSL and told him no and I called verizon to see if he set me up with DSL and he did. I took me longer to cancel the service then it took for the guy to scam me.

I don't have caller ID so I'm not sure what number they called from, but they called about a Verizon expansion pack. Our business has been scammed before so I said I would have to call him back. He gave me the number 800-976-6997 ext 1163 and said his name was Stacy Lee.

Called ID Unknown Name.

Received call and answered. Unknown name, Unknown number. Said with Verizon and I can save 15%.  Told him I would call back.  Gave me this number 800-976-6997 and his name Patrick.  Ext 1163 is D Wright but ask for Patrick.  (He called me back) in 10 minutes from THIS NUMBER 760-526-8114. Told him I was not interested.  Will not let you go.  Told me is was a special new package verizon has.  Persistant person.

I answered the phone but no one was there...

name on caller id is john mcdomenk , this time caller left no detail. A little research shows this is the same number calling to offer carpet cleaning and mortgage solutions, even to persons without a mortgage. I have received lots of both. I have tried to get my number removed from list but doing so just increases the number of calls. Eventually I started  getting calls warning me that if I did not respond I would be removed from list. I was hoping it would be true. I was never removed they still call 6 months later. My impression is they use carpet cleaning to check out house then come back with real estate loan. I looked in the California Department of Real Estate and John McDomenk does not have a CA real estate license. Probably a fictitous name. Best solution don't answer let them leave a message so it cost them money each time they call. the longer they are kept on the line the more it should cost them.

caller ID and call log shows this number. I answered, heard nothing.  Must be some scam.
