Got the same message but from number 559-618-1195 at 10:22 pm while I was asleep...

These thoughtless jerks left me text spam on my pay-per-use cell phone. My number isn't listed, and I don't use text messaging. I'd contact them to insist they pay me back what their spam cost me, but I doubt it would do any good, and my time is worth more than that. So I'll console myself by posting what they did on several websites until I'm not so furious.

I got my first ever spam text from this company from the number 760 5554 2562. What recourse is there against  people who send spam via text messages?

I received 15 messages in a row re VIP stock pix and am sick of this! I tagged them as SPAM so that I can see they need to be delted and not answered so it doesn'[t use up my phone minutes, very annoying.

I don't know who this company is but I received the same text about winning an ipad3 to try from 760-554-2562. I hope they can catch these people!

Received text message on Feb.27/2012, 6:25am, on my Rogers Wireless (Ontario, Canada) Blackberry (non-enterprise). The message is:

I don't know how they got my number, my number isn't on Facebook, I don't use the Facebook app on my phone, and don't use many apps. Perhaps a friend with an iPhone uses an app that uploads their address book data to a server somewhere.

I received text messages from this number at 6:54 Sunday morning.  I am really angry that they have my cell phone number.  They were offering penny stocks.  How can I stop these people from calling my cell phone.  I'd like to block them.  They offer no identification just want me to buy penny stocks.

I received a text message (at 3:54am PST) from 1 (760) 554-2562 saying I've been choosen to Win the New IPad3.
