I have had several of calls from this same number - (266) 369-6222. Also a guy with a strong accent. One day I talked to him and told him I didn't have any account with him and he yelled at me. Today I had a message from him on my voice mail and he doesn't introduce himself or anything - he just said "tomorrow everybody will die. B***s***" Obviously that's a threat. I think I'll call the police on this guy. This is ridiculous. I don't have any account with these people at all. When I try to call back it says the call did not go through.

the same thing is happening to me right now. They first called my work and were rude to my boss. Today they left a message on my phone at home. What do you do? Just ignore them? Will it stop?

Just got a call from 266-369-6222 which is a number in Cana advising me to call 760-557-1021. I am not returning any of these calls. The on the gmail said it is a threat against my ss number. And I need to call back or my lawyer. So I found this site. Shame on them.

My husband received a phone call today from some foreign man saying that he took a cash advance loan in Dec of 2010 for 1,400. The man said that it was turned over to him a collection agency. He had my husband's correct name, and home address which was not correct. The last for digits of his ss#. He had the name of our bank and he knew the last for digits in our bank account #. The man said the loan was done online and was deposited into our bank account which was not true. My husband went to our bank and they couldn't find where it was a deposit for that amount in Dec. My husband called the man while he was in the bank and let the lady listen in on the call.  Everything he said she typed into the system and it came up it was a scam. The man did have our whole bank account number but changed the amount of the money and said he made a mistake and it was 4 hundred some dollars not $ 1,400. The man was getting mad cause my husband was asking him questions and telling him to fax him information about the loan that was supposed to have been done on line. He refused and said once he sent in the payment he would send him the information. He changed all our banking information but this crazy person sounds like the same person that has been calling a lot of people. This is scary and I hope they catch the person or persons who is doing this. If you receive a call like this don't give out ANY information to this person. The crazy thing my husband hasn't taken out a loan on line or in person so where does these people get his personal information from. The number they called from was 266-369-6222. He left a voice mail saying to call him back at 714-276-1218

I received a phone call from 266-369-6222 about a loan I supposedly took out.  They already had some of my personal information.  I told him I wanted to dispute this and asked him for a number so I could get a conference with my bank and he gave me 713-884-7310.  I called that number and it does not allow incoming calls.

What the hell is this all about?  Should I make a report about this?  And who should I report them to?  Has my identity been stolen?

I also applied for a online payday loan and this is when I started to get calls from these two numbers 760-557-1021 and 266-369-6222 stating that they were going to take me to court because I had not paid back a payday loan that I had taken out they faxed over some form they wanted me to fill out with all my credit card information on it and send it back in 10 minutes or the deal would be off

Received en e-mail from these people with phone # to contact.  They have been trying to scam me for about 6 months now and I have already filed a complaint with the FTC.  They keep saying I have a loan in default and that there are criminal charges being filed.  I have contacted just about every department I can think of to get these people to stop.  But, now they are calling from # 266-369-6222...they seem to my e-mail address, not sure how they got that...if anyone has any ideas on how to stop these people from calling, I could sure use them.  I tried blocking them, but they just call from a different #....

I keep receiving calls from a James Daler (with a heavy Indian accent) for the name, stating that I would be facing a police arrest if I don't call them back the next day to settle my "loan" with them, and that I should call him right away or I will truly regret it.  First he dials my cell, then my work number which I dread.
