And what could they do? Thats just wasting their time. This guy is using a phonecard - no tracing unless he paid with a debit/credit card which is doubtful.

VPI = Vista Print Incorporated? - which is the companies legal name although most just know them as Vistaprint.

Update: I also have worked with Vista Print and am getting calls. Sounds like it's either them or someone that stole their data.

I just got a call from this number too.  He asked for me by my 1st name.  My number is listed under a business name.  I know my son uses my computer sometimes and he DID order business cards through Vista prints.  I don't know if this is related or not, but how would they know my 1st name?  I asked him where he was calling from and he said he was with VPI.  Then he said you must be busy and hung up.

They called my private residence. When I answered today they ask if I was "Daisy Duke". I hung up. Gotta lb love their humor.

I said hello 3 times and the caller asked if this was "Daisy Duke". I hung up. Looked in caller ID and the number appears almost daily. They need a life!

This number calls me up to three times a day. Usually there is no one there. One time there was a prerecorded message about a meeting. Then it hangs up. I've started a new business and so far I've only interacted with a company that takes DUN numbers.

Have been recieving this call for about a week no answer when I say hello its just silence. Recieve about 3 x a day from this number. What is that about! I will just not answer and maybe the calls will stop.

I've used vistaprint for years, I don't believe they share your number.

I get missed calls from this # a couple of times a week, they just called me again twice back to back, and hung up when I answered, i am one of the owners of our company, tried to call it back and it would not go through.. Have no I idea what they want, Caller ID just says Ramona CA

I have received several calls from this number and after the first couple and the comments made I reported to the local law enforcement agency... upon their investigation of this number it comes back to a calling card from Violet Phone Cards if calls continue I am not afraid to take legal action to make it stop. I have a business and I am very busy as are most of the other commenters regarding this #.

Everyday they call without fail. They asked today is this the business owner, I replied yes it is, Then they said my full business name then hung up. Fun times!

Young guy asked for, "the owner" I am a sole proprietor and do internet work only...I don't get customer or business calls, so I asked him, "of what?" He said my registered company name, I asked what I could help him with he asked how things are in Miami, I said fine (business recently moved to Tallahassee so his data is old) he then said "you sound busy I'll call back later" and hung up.

His provider needs to shut him down.

Same as described. Multiple calls, last time a male came on line and asked if I was owner of the business, had my first name. Then hung up. Obviously building a list...how to stop[!

Got a call today, they asked how I was doing and that they would like to take me to the Beach in San Diego. Sound like scammers

I dont believe that the number where taken from any vendors. I too received the same call and do not associate my number with any vendor.

Just got a call and they asked for the owner.  I asked if this is a sales call and they hung up.

They dont want to buy that their employees are doing this but I explained to them, being in HR for YEARS, that you can not 100% know your employees inside and out. What they are doing is taking the data from the system and probably using the information on their day off, lunches, or what not. They COULD be doing in their building as well hence why they are using a phone card - so it wont show up on the VP bills. Regardless, it was easy for me to figure out because my private cell has rarely been associated with the company I work.

Business owner here as well. This same number keeps calling me as well. So far they always hang up when I answer. The only company I have done business with has been vistaprint. Looks like they could be the culprits. I want to reach through the phone and punch these guys so hard their mother falls down. Anyone else?

Young guy called, asked to speak to the owner. I asked "owner of what" (this is a private cell number). He said "Owner of NAME OF COMPANY" (which is where I work - so obviously someone I have emailed since my number is in my signature of my email and our tenants also have my number - no one else could possibly). I said "No, I'm the Office Manager, how can I help you?" He said "Oh, youre the manager? Your mother must be so proud" Before I could say, "yes, she is quite proud" he hung up. Weird.

Possible vendors would be Walmart/Wayfair or RoadTrafficSigns but Wayfair is in Boston and these are the only two vendors I have associated my phone number with the company I work for - placing orders for the company.

I got a call from the same phone number as everyone else. The call came through on my computer through Skype but I was not at my computer to take the call. There was no message left and when I tried to call back my calls wouldn't go through. I suspect there is a team or couple (man+woman) that is calling business owners to build a legitimate telephone contact list that can be sold for hundreds of dollars. If you answer the phone and you confirm you are the owner they have 2 things 1) a working telephone number 2) direct access to the boss. I am a business owner too and so are the rest of you so yeah I think they are trying to put together a contact list so they can sell it.

This number keeps on calling asking for my son and when I ask who it is they hang up, when I try to call back no sound then they hang up. They ask for him as if he was their friend by first name. I have been getting these calls everyday for the past 2 weeks.

They call us twice a day, asking to speak to the owner and then abruptly hang up. We tried calling back but calls won't go through. After reading the above comments, I think next time they call I will ask for the whale watching and bungee jumping trips ha ha!

I just got a call from a guy with a new york accent who asked if I was the 'owner of the business', and that it was great I was in Chicago (true) and that if I came out to San Diego he'd take me bungee jumping.
