Just spoke with them, they do have access to your information, but this is a solicitation for a service that will reduce your rate for a fee that would be equivalent to the difference in the amount that would be paid on in interest if minimum or close to minimum payments were made.  This is a third party company that provides a service outside of the associated bank and credit card companies, and uses a reduced form of that delta to make their profit.  The first person that I spoke with a strong Indian accent, and was poorly trained, he voluntarily transferred me to a more fluent (maybe american?) supervisor who explained the nature of the service...vaguely, and then reviewed information that was available after an unusual number of validations (none of which was personal information, just partial credit card info but not the card security number) and indicated that I would receive a call within 30 minutes to discuss the rate reduction offer.  Within about 5 minutes, I recieved a call back from (253)220-0741 and after minimal conversation, it was discovered that because I paid my statement balances every month, the fee for their service would not be justified and that he would cancel the order, apologized for that not being clarified earlier and we ended the call.  FYI, for my protection, i have Lifelock, but I cannot report if this entity has any intention on delivering the service that it claims, but I have not seen any unauthorized accounts or activity on my credit report as a result (as of yet...), but based on the accent of the final person that called, he sounded from California and while this business sounds mismanaged, I do not think that it is doing anything illegal, besides trying to skirt the do not call list which their language will definitely indicate.  Finally, some of the information that they use was to create an account within their firm's system, which is why it throws so many mental flags.

Long story short, unless you actually need that service, press 2 to opt out (or whatever the prompt says) and they likely will not call again.  Hope this helps.

Rachel of Card Services is now Heather.  They're spoofing the fax number to the Hyatt Regency Hotel.  THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM that has been going on for years.  Don't bother complaining to the Do Not Call List, it's totally worthless.  Just push #1 and blow an air horn in their ear.

I just got the same phone call regarding credit card interest! Who do I report this to?

called my cell at 9:00 am this morning and same story about my credit card and so i pressed 1 and when i asked y there is a card in my name the guy hung up.

This call is spoofed, making it appear to come from Hyatt REgency Hotels.  It's not.  It's a telemarketer, and they've been using this number/spoof caller ID at least since January.  I am on the Do Not Call list.  I've already let Hyatt Regency know about it.

Called me left no message. I called back and it rang 10+ times no answer

Got this calls on the house phone, now I am getting them on the cell phone.  I do got have any credit cards so I don't know why they are calling

Answered the call from this number and the computer said it was credit card services and there was nothing wrong with my card at this time. That's when I hung up since my credit card company wouldn't call me with their computer. SPAM!

My Caller ID just had the number, but it was the same story "abut your credit card".  I went ahead and pressed "1" with a greeting of "Who am I talking to?"  Of course the person violated law by not identifying his company.  As began to scold him, he hung up.

This number called my cell phone. No message. Never saw this number beforre.

Just got a call from this number, caller ID says "Hyatt Regency" but the recording was talking about "your credit card" and offering a lower rate without specifying what card or card issuer.

Just got this call 1-14, Hyatt Regency.  I don't talk to these lovely idiots.

Just got a hangup call from this telemarketer.
